Clarice Weintraub Bean and Harper put together some really nice runs this weekend and are really getting the hang of the cow work!

Maddie Carey and Sunday were as relaxed and a well put together team that we all strive to be. Adjusting to a new discipline is always a challenge but you guys make it look easy. Great job!

Kyra and Losing Guntrol had some really nice runs and are doing a great job getting to know each other and building a partnership that will lead to much success.

Paul and Rachel thank you for stalling with us. Yall were the life of the party and we really enjoyed you joining Team Graycheck this show. Looking forward to more shows with you guys!

This weekend at the East Coast Showdown, G and Boon brought home the High Point VRH Limited Youth saddle, and we could not be more proud of this incredible team.

Every ride this weekend was a reflection of grit, determination, trust, and true partnership. Boon continues to prove he is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of horse — the definition of a unicorn — and G continues to rise to every challenge with heart, work ethic, and quiet determination.

Watching these two grow together has been something special. Their hard work, consistency, and belief in one another paid off in a big way this weekend, and we are so grateful to be part of their journey.

G has been such an asset to our team. She shows up ready to work, gives everything she has, and continues to improve every single time she steps in the saddle. We are incredibly proud of the horsewoman she is becoming and so excited for what the future holds.

Congratulations, G and Boon — this one was well earned. 🤍

Losing Guntrol is a 2022 AQHA gelding by the $11 million stallion, Spooks Gotta Whiz. He is out of Colonels Smoking Gun mare, who is the all-time leading NRHA sire with his offspring winning over $15 million in earnings.

“R***r” is also registered with APHA, NRHA, and NRBC enrolled. He has a kind eye, and a stunning bay color. Standing at 15hh, R***r is easy to operate, and his gaits are as comfortable as any other horse in the barn. He’s a pleasure to ride, and truly is just a joy to have around.

He’s up for the task with a positive expression, no matter what it is, and he looks great doing it. At only 4 years old, R***r has a lifetime ahead of him. Whether it’s on the ranch earning his keep, going to clinics or camping trips with friends on the weekend, or being shown at the highest levels of competition, he will excel in any direction.

Enough good things can’t be said about this horse. We’ve enjoyed our time having him so much, that we would love to keep him in our program if the versatility ranch horse route is in his next owner’s future, as we believe this horse will be a winner in the right hands.

Iron sharpens iron. Taking 2nd place in the Ranch Trail Competition after Steve Meadows at the Great American Ranch and Trail Horse Sale is never a bad place to be, especially with the quality of horses we had to compete against. Congrats again Steve!
