1. The sudden, unprovoked outbreak of turf wars inside a saltwater aquarium, typically involving multiple tang species who all believe they own the same 6 inches of rock.

2. Characterized by:
• Drive-by tail slaps
• Side-eye escalations
• Full-speed laps around the tank to “prove dominance”
• One yellow tang acting like the kingpin for no reason

3. Often triggered by:
• Feeding time
• Lights turning on
• Lights turning off
• Existing

I’m hosting a small, hands-on meetup for reefers who want better coral photos. We’ll be shooting top-down, but the same techniques translate to shooting through glass too.

Bring whatever you shoot with: phone rigs, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, tripods, filters, porthole/viewing tools, macro lenses — anything you’ve got.

We’ll rotate through setups, compare settings, and share real tips for:
✅ sharper focus
✅ better color under blues
✅ less glare/shimmer
✅ clean shots without over-editing
