What an incredible turnout for our Halloween Costume Contest at Downs Park! Despite the rain and high winds earlier in the morning, our community came out with amazing festive energy.

We saw so many creative, fun, and spooky outfits—ranging from classic movie characters and powerful superheroes to magical princesses and everything in between! Thank you to everyone who braved the morning weather to make this event such a blast. 🦸‍♂️👑🎬

Van Bokkelen Trunk or Treat Recap! 🎃👻

What an unbelievable night in Severn! We welcomed a massive crowd of 1,060 community members at the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Youth Activities Trunk or Treat at Van Bokkelen Elementary! 📈🎃

To make the night even sweeter, our team took home 1st PLACE! 🥳🥇🏆

It was a true department-wide effort from day one to design, build, and bring our massive “”Jurassic Rec and Parks”” structure to life. That incredible teamwork brought home the big trophy! 🏆🦖💪

Thank you to AACoPD Youth Activities for hosting such a fantastic event and having us out, and thank you to every family who came out to celebrate with us. We can’t wait for next year! 💙🚓
