We would like to share an exciting personal update regarding one of our veterinarians. Dr. Willow Mikulski has recently gotten married and is now Dr. Willow Cochran.

While her name may have changed, she'll continue providing the same care and dedication that our patients and clients know and love. If you see Dr. Cochran on appointment schedules, medical records, or communications, rest assured it's the same familiar veterinarian you've come to trust.

As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

In fact, many classic burger ingredients—like onions, garlic, and heavy seasoning—can upset their stomach (or worse). The good news? You can still treat them—just a little differently. Think:

Alexis has been part of the GAVH family for 8 years! One of the things she loves most about her role is being able to help people and their pets feel supported, heard and cared for every step of the way. Whether she’s creating a positive experience for clients or helping solve problems throughout the day Alexis always brings compassion and dedication to the team.

Outside of work her pets Juniper, her Goldendoodle and Chip, her Corgi are her whole world and pretty much her favorite hobby too! 🐾❤️

Some of our amazing staff spent their day off serving the local community by providing low-cost vaccines and care for pets through BARCS.
So grateful to be part of a community that works to make veterinary care more accessible and keep pets healthy, loved, and protected. A long day, but absolutely worth it for all the wagging tails, purrs, and grateful families we met along the way. 🐾💉❤️
