So Custer hasn't gotten any better this week. The vets are going in for another surgery on Wednesday to try and remove the mass in his abdomen. There's a 50/50 chance it might be cancer or something totally unexpected. That being said I have decided to at least try to save my little guy. I have spent over 10k on trying to help him get better so far and funds are getting really tight. I wouldn't normally ask for help but I am starting to have some issues with paying his mounting vet costs. If anyone would be willing to help out please let me know. I can exchange free hammocks in the future when my guy hopefully feels better. 10k in a month has been hard and we're looking at another 2k for the surgery. It's hard to say goodbye when you're really holding out hope...

This is my other baby, Custer. Recently he had dental surgery and has not really recovered completely from it. He had tooth reabsorption and his teeth were in bad shape so they recommended we pull them all. I regret it. It was very costly and he won't eat on his own now and he has developed all sorts of other issues. Despite a bunch of testing we don't know 100% what's wrong with him. I've closed my store to be able to focus on his health for awhile. He has to be syringe fed every few hours and is taking all sorts of medications and it's honestly very overwhelming. Not sure if anyone else ever experienced anything like this after dental surgery for their cat or dog. If you have any advice is welcome. The surgery was over a month ago and he's totally healed but just won't eat 😕

Today was horrible.. I said goodbye to my last two Chads and one of the Heathers. All 9 Chads are together again and Heather joined 4 of her sisters over the rainbow bridge. They were just 2 months shy of their 3rd birthday. They were saved from being sold as snake food and I've had them since the day they were born so these babies were so close to my heart. goodbye and safe travels my loves 💔🌈

Rest easy Pennywise 💔
Pennywise came to live with me back in May 2024. I dont know her exact age, but I know over the course of two years she never really warmed up to me. She did love other rats though. She integrated into a large group of girls after her original friends passed away last year. She was the best big sister to those girls. You'll be missed.
