Welcome to the happy hearts pet care team….. Allie Sindelar!

Hi, I'm Allie! I'm originally from Texas and made Ann Arbor my home in 2025. I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and grew up caring for all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and more. As a kid, I was always asking my mom to take me to volunteer at our local animal shelter because I loved spending time with animals and helping them however I could. Today, I share my home with my sweet pit bull/boxer mix, Sophie, and my energetic crested gecko, Toko.

Living with pets has only strengthened my appreciation for the unique personalities and needs of every animal. I’m passionate about providing the highest level of care possible and treat every pet as if they were my own - with patience, kindness and plenty of love! Joining Happy Hearts Pet Care brings my passion to life and I’m so happy I could be apart of this team. I can't wait to meet you and your furry, feathery, or scaly family members!

Kim Holcomb joined the Happy Hearts Pet Care team in April.

I'm originally from the east coast and have moved around a bit. I moved to Michigan in March of 2023 to care for my senior mom who has dementia and is now in memory care.

My first dream was to be a veterinarian, but I went into nursing instead. I am now retired from nursing after 37yrs!

I have always loved animals. I grew up with cats and dogs, I have experience with birds, turtles, chickens, fish, guinea pigs, goats and learned to love and care for Horses while living in Colorado.

Learning to actually listen to animals has been a very important lesson for my career and life in general. Just like people, every animal is unique!

I am happy to be part of the Happy Hearts Pet Care team and look forward to providing lots of love, cuddles, play, and exercise to your pets and making them feel safe in their own home.

Hi, I’m Sadie! I’m a student at Washtenaw Community College, and I love animals of all kinds and enjoy spending time with them. I joined the team after hearing my mom, who is also a team member, talk about how great it is. I’m experienced with caring for pets and will treat your beloved pets like my own, providing them with plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away!

Hi! I'm Maddi and I just recently moved to the Ann Arbor area at the beginning of 2026 from Missouri and I am so happy to be a part of the Happy Hearts team. Though I'm relatively new to the area my love for animals traveled with me. I was apart of a pet sitting team in Missouri and am always the happiest getting to meet so many new furry faces!

I have many animals of my own who are my pride and joy, consisting of my two pups and many cats, all of whom are rescues! I used to have ferrets and rats and absolutely loved having them. I'm experienced in an array of animals anywhere from monkeys to fish! I'm so excited to meet your pets!

Hi I’m Pam, a retiree and lifelong animal lover. Growing up I was always bringing home strays to take care of. Later on I volunteered at several animal shelters over the years with my children.

I have been a pet sitter for several years and love spending time with all different kinds of animals. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Hi, I'm Lauren and I just recently graduated from the University of Michigan, where I studied Applied Exercise Science. I’m currently continuing my education at U-M while earning my Master’s in Management, so I’m excited to be able to stay in Ann Arbor a little longer and spend more time caring for your pets!
I grew up in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, and I’ve always had a love for animals. At home, I have a dog and about 20 chickens, so I’ve had plenty of experience caring for animals my whole life and understand how important it is to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy running, baking, hiking, and exploring new coffee shops around Ann Arbor (I drink a lot of coffee!). I’m so happy to be part of the Happy Hearts Pet Care team and look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!
