Thank you Andy and WLKI for having Faith, Victoria and Tundra in today to talk about Barktober Fest! We are incredibly grateful for the support, and Tundra (who is completely adoptable and the very best girl) didn’t want the belly rubs to stop. We will see you on Saturday!

😂🐶 Should I report this workplace romance to HR? Tundra just planted one right on me during a vist to WLKI 100.3, and I’m not sure there’s a policy for puppy kisses! 💋🐾

🍂 BARKTOBER FEST is bringing FREE family fun! Enjoy a candy trail, face painting, games, a pet costume contest with prizes, 25 local vendors, food trucks, and live music, all while supporting the animals at the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County. ❤️

A big thank-you to Faith Roberson and Victoria Casper for joining me along with Tundra, our adorable 11-month-old kissing bandit who’s looking for her forever home! 🏡🐕

A couple of weeks ago, we teamed up with Jordan’s Way for a 3-hour live fundraising event, and thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we brought in $11,173.91 in profit for the animals at Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County! ❤️🐶🐱

Every dollar helps us continue caring for the animals who depend on us, and we’re so grateful to everyone who watched, shared, donated, and cheered us on. Your support truly makes a difference!

We also want to give a special shoutout to Midsolv for supporting our shelter in a different but equally meaningful way! 💻 Midsolv has generously donated time and equipment to improve our WiFi and has continued working alongside us to upgrade our systems and help our team work more efficiently. Reliable technology makes a bigger difference than you might think in keeping our shelter running smoothly, and we’re incredibly thankful for their expertise and generosity.

From fundraising to behind-the-scenes support, it takes a community to care for our animals. Thank you, Jordan’s Way, Midsolv, and everyone who continues to stand behind our shelter and the animals who call it home. 🐾❤️

🐶 Cora
📍Located in Angola

“Cora is a lab/dachshund mix that I got after she was dumped on a road with her littermates and then was in a cage for a while before I found and got her.

She’s under a year old up to date on all vaccines.

She is on anxiety meds because she is terrified of just about everything but it’s mostly with men and small children but she is Not aggressive or loud. She whines when she wants to go out or when she’s hungry and if she form a bond with someone sometimes she will howl a few times before said person leaves the room.

She needs someone with time to help her and work on it with her she is majority potty trained but does still have accidents mostly when she gets really scared but that’s not often I just unfortunately don’t have the time to work with her anymore and she deserves someone who does.

She comes with her kennel, collar, leash, dog bowls, food, supplements, Dog wash, anxiety meds, and vaccine papers along with her rabies vaccine tag.”
