⚠️ Trigger Warning: Pregnancy Loss / Neonatal Loss ⚠️

Today is possibly one of the hardest days we’ve experienced as breeders.

Our sweet mama, Penny, was due to welcome her babies next weekend. Instead, she went into labor 10 days early and we lost all of them.

As breeders, we spend so much time sharing the happy moments - the ultrasound pictures, the puppy updates, the first waddles and the gotcha days. What people don’t always see are the heartbreaking moments that can happen despite doing everything right.

Penny received excellent prenatal care, was monitored closely, and was loved every step of the way. Sometimes, even with the best veterinary care and careful management, nature has other plans. There isn’t always an answer, and that can be one of the most difficult parts.

Today we’re grieving the little ones that should have been here. Tiny little lives that were loved and anticipated long before they ever took their first breath. The tiny paws and precious faces we were so excited to introduce to the world are now memories we will hold close instead.

Our focus now is on Penny. She has been fully worked up at the vet, is recovering well, and receiving lots of extra love and attention. We are incredibly grateful to have her with us.

Breeding is filled with joy, but it also comes with responsibility, sacrifice, and sometimes profound loss. We share this not for sympathy, but to be transparent about the realities that come with raising and breeding dogs ethically. Behind every healthy litter is a breeder who understands that there are no guarantees and who carries the weight of these losses deeply.

Run free, little ones. You were wanted, you were loved, and you will never be forgotten. ❤️🐾

✨ Meet Cosmo ✨

This beautiful standard Bernedoodle girl is searching for the family she was always meant for. Through no fault of her own, she has found her way back to us, and we know her perfect people are still out there waiting for her. 💛

Today was her very first professional grooming appointment and she completely stole everyone’s hearts. From the bath and blow dryer to brushing and handling, she handled every step like an absolute pro. We begin early neurological stimulation, grooming exposure, and desensitization exercises starting around two weeks old, and this sweet girl is proof of how much that foundation matters.

Cosmo has such a loving, gentle personality and has already been introduced to:

🐾 Potty routines
🐾 Grooming tools & handling
🐾 Everyday household sounds
🐾 Socialization experiences

She’s at such a fun age right now - playful, affectionate, smart, and eager to bond with her people. Whether she’s cuddling beside you or proudly showing off her good manners, she brings so much joy everywhere she goes.

Hi everybody. My name is Yukon and today I got the biggest job in the whole world. 💛

I’m only 9 weeks old. I still trip over my giant paws, fall asleep in weird places, and think every leaf outside is my personal enemy. But today, a family chose me to grow up beside their brave little four-year-old warrior.

My new best friend has already been through more than most people do in a lifetime…multiple open heart surgeries, hospital stays, scary moments, and so many hard days. But guess what? They are also funny, strong, sweet, and absolutely perfect.

One day, when I’m bigger, I’ll learn how to help them feel safe. I’ll learn to stay calm in busy places, go to appointments, lay quietly during hard moments, and be there when things feel overwhelming. I’ll be their shadow, their comfort, and probably their snack inspector too.

Right now though? My most important job is simple:
Love them with my whole entire fluffy little heart.
