Asher’s Golden Retriever mix crew is still here, still adorable, still stealing hearts, and still wondering why their people haven’t shown up yet!

These fluffy little characters have so much love to give, and we’d really love to see them spending their days making somebody’s house a little louder, their couch a little furrier, and their life a whole lot sweeter. 🥹🐶

❤️ Remember Asher’s story? This is the next chapter. ❤️

Asher’s nine Golden Retriever mix puppies are growing up and will be looking for their forever families next weekend! 🐾

These sweet babies are expected to be 50+ pounds full grown and are being raised just like everyone else at A Breed Above Kennels, with our curriculum-based foundation, intentional socialization, and lots of love and care.

Because these guys came to us through a rescue situation, they are significantly less than our usual babies. That means an opportunity for families who have been hoping for one of our well-started babies but may need a more budget-friendly option. ❤️

🎶 COAT OF MANY COLORS 🌈

If Dolly Parton taught us anything, it’s that a little sparkle, a whole lot of personality, and a heart full of love never go out of style. 💖 And these two boys are living proof!

Meet Rhinestone & 9 to 5, the final two gentlemen from our Coat of Many Colors Mini Goldendoodles, and trust me when I say these boys could not be more different if they tried! 😂💎

💎 Rhinestone is our laid-back, snuggle-loving gentleman. He’s the kind of boy who doesn’t need to be the center of attention because he knows exactly where he belongs…right in your lap! He’s usually the first one to come looking for cuddles, and if you’re sitting down, consider that an invitation. His love language is basically “hold me, please.” 🥹❤️

🕺 9 to 5 is a whole different production! This boy is outgoing, confident, bold, energetic, and absolutely convinced he’s the star of the show. He prances around like he’s walking the red carpet, and I’m not entirely convinced he believes he’s actually a dog. 😂 He’s got the confidence of Dolly herself, the energy to keep things entertaining, and enough personality to fill an entire stage!

Two brothers, two completely different personalities, and twice the sweetness. Whether you’re looking for a snuggly little shadow or a confident sidekick who keeps life interesting, these boys have a way of making themselves unforgettable. 🐾💕

Dearest Gentle Readers,

It would appear that the season has begun… and what a season it shall be.

A most distinguished group of young Golden Retrievers has recently made their debut, and I daresay the Ton has not seen such a collection of charm, beauty, and questionable intentions since the last ball at Aubrey Hall.

They are, of course, being referred to as The Ton’s Most Eligible. 💛

Their manners are still a work in progress, naturally. One cannot expect perfection from society’s newest debutantes and gentlemen. There are naps to be taken, ears to be chewed, and an astonishing number of important matters requiring immediate investigation.

Still, whispers throughout the Ton suggest that these young ladies and gentlemen are quite exceptional.

And yet, dear reader, there is a most curious development…

The majority have already been spoken for.

But four young ladies remain.

Four beautiful debutantes who have yet to discover which fortunate family will receive their final bow.

Whether one is seeking a refined young lady with impeccable manners, a spirited little troublemaker, or simply a Golden Retriever who will happily follow you about the house as though you are the most fascinating person in all of London, the opportunity may not present itself again.

Meet Asher!

Five years ago, Asher was one of our babies. She was adopted by a family, and for the first few years, we believed she was living the happy life we had hoped for her.

Years later, we learned that things hadn’t gone the way we thought they had. Asher had not been given the kind of life, love, and care that every dog deserves. Through a series of circumstances, this sweet girl eventually made her way back to us.

And honestly… we’re so thankful she did. ❤️

When Asher came back to us, she brought along nine little surprises. 🥹

That certainly wasn’t the plan for her, but Asher became an incredible mama, and we’re raising her nine little babies alongside her. They’ll be looking for families of their own in a few weeks…

But right now, the priority is Asher. ❤️

She’s spent enough of her life waiting for things to be better. Now we want to make sure the next chapter is everything she deserved all along.

Asher is 5 years old, house trained, crate trained, and has even taught herself to alert for diabetes. She is great with kids of all ages, cats, dogs and farm animals. She has so much love to give, and we’re looking for a family who will give that love right back to her.

She will be fully vetted and have her spay appointment scheduled before adoption. It will be a requirement that her family keep the spay appointment.

We aren’t in a hurry to place Asher. We’re looking for her people - the family who will make her a permanent part of their lives and show her just how wonderful being someone’s spoiled girl can be. 🐾💕

💙 Two little boys are still waiting for their people. 💙

Minion & Kevin are just shy of 10 weeks old, and somehow these two sweet boys are still waiting for their families to find them. 🥹

They’ll be around 25 pounds full grown, with those gorgeous curly, non-shedding coats and the sweetest personalities. They’ve been loved, socialized, cuddled, and spoiled every step of the way and now we’d really love to see them settled into families of their own.

🐾 Could this be their lucky weekend? 🐾

Sometimes, even when a dog is deeply loved, life changes in ways we never expected. ❤️

We’ve been asked to help find a forever home for Dolly (aka Moonpie from Oliver x Tessa), a beautiful Golden Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog mix. Her family has loved her incredibly much, and this has been a very difficult and emotional decision for them. They have taken their time thinking it through and are putting Dolly’s best interests first, which is exactly what we hope every family would do when circumstances change.

Dolly is truly a special girl. 🥹 She is gentle, quiet, eager to please, and incredibly affectionate. She would happily spend her days curled up beside her person being a professional couch potato, but she could also thrive with someone looking for an active, fun companion.

She is spayed, up to date on her shots, housebroken, and crate trained. She is comfortable in her crate without anxiety or protesting and walks well on a leash. She has lived with cats and has not shown prey drive toward them, although she does enjoy pointing at birds in the yard. 😂

Like any Golden girl, she has a few charming little quirks. She enjoys digging and may occasionally sneak off with a shoe or a child’s toy—but she’ll happily drop it when she’s told. And perhaps one of her most impressive qualities… she doesn’t bark. Like ever. 😳

Dolly has been a very loved member of her family, and we want to make sure her next chapter is just as wonderful. We are not in a rush and will take the time necessary to find the right forever home where she can continue to be loved, spoiled, and included as part of the family.
