🎓🐾 Big Congratulations to Jasmine! 🐾🎓

Our girl officially graduated on Friday! ❤️

As many of you know, Dog Trotters is truly family owned and operated, and Jasmine has grown up right here at the kennel loving on your dogs alongside all of us.

Now that graduation is behind her, she’ll be spending even MORE time at Dog Trotters 😁which means extra puppy cuddles, extra help around the kennel, and of course… more homemade dog cookies! 🍪🐶

We are so proud of her and so thankful for all of the love and support from our Dog Trotters family over the years 🎉

🇺🇸 MEMORIAL DAY REMINDER 🇺🇸

Just a reminder that *Drop Off* Day Camp will be CLOSED on Monday for Memorial Day.

We will be operating on holiday boarding hours only:
⏰ 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
⏰ 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Please make arrangements for all drop-offs and pick-ups during these times only.

🎓 Friday, May 22 Schedule Update 🎓

As many of you know, Dog Trotters is a family owned and operated business, and this Friday our family will be celebrating a very special moment — our daughter/granddaughter’s graduation! ❤️

Because of this, we will be CLOSED for Day Camp on Friday, May 22.

We will still be accepting boarding reservations during our morning hours only:
⏰ 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Please note:
• ALL boarding drop-offs and pick-ups must take place during morning hours only
• We will be CLOSED during afternoon hours for graduation festivities
• No Day Camp dogs will be accepted Friday

We appreciate everyone’s understanding while we celebrate this important family milestone. Thank you for supporting our small family business! 🎓🐾

🐾 Important Day Camp Update 🐾

As we head into our busy summer season, we want to remind everyone that Day Camp is available Monday through Thursday only.

Please note that reservations are required and we are unable to accept walk-ins.

This has always been our policy, but as camp fills up faster during the summer months, it is very important to call or message ahead to reserve your pup’s spot 🐶☀️

We want to make sure every baby has a safe and fun day with us, and that means planning for space in advance.

Thank you all so much for understanding and for trusting us with your fur babies! 💕

Due to icy conditions, Day Camp will be CLOSED on Monday.

We will be operating on limited hours, and boarding clients only.

We are keeping an eye on the weather and Tuesday will depend on whether we receive additional ice. We’ll update everyone as soon as we know more.

🌨❄️COLD WEATHER❄️🌨
IF YOU HAVE AN OUTSIDE DOG AND NEED STRAW OR PINE SHAVINGS OR A BETTER DOG HOUSE/SHELTER CALL AND LEAVE A MESSAGE (910)892-3777

As everyone knows we are getting freezing weather this weekend.
Whether this is snow or ice or freezing rain we want everyone to also think about their animals!

Ideally we would love for everyone to bring their dogs and cats inside on the couch with blankies to snuggle and be cozy.... unfortunately thats not going to happen in all cases.

We have SOME spare igloo for dogs, some pine shavings, hopefully some extra straw this morning.
We also have dog food and cat food if needed and extra blankets for indoor dogs or dogs safely kept in garages, sheds etc.

We are driving around trying to drop off supplies with anyone we know.
If you have a neighbor with an outside dog and a dog house that needs some straw or pine shavings IN THE CITY OF DUNN you can call and leave a message also.

If you want to help then please donate pine shavings or straw. We can deliver.
If you are going to comment anything negative on this post or pick fights with people your comments will be deleted. We are trying to help here and dont have the time or energy to sort through negative comments....

Stay safe and stay warm (and keep your dogs and cats warm)

❄️🐾 Weather Update from Dog Trotters 🐾❄️

With the incoming winter storm and potential ice, we’re making a safety-first decision for our staff and all pups.

👉 Day Camp will be CLOSED Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

✨ This does NOT affect dogs with existing boarding reservations.
All boarding guests already scheduled will continue to receive care as planned.

At this time, please do not bring Day Camp dogs or make new Day Camp reservations.

📣 If anything changes, we will announce updates — but for now, this is the plan.

Ice, power outages, and play yards don’t mix 🧊🐕
