Some groom for the money. Others groom from the heart, and the money follows the passion.

After 10 years, I’ve learned that the hardest part of this profession isn’t the grooming. It’s the last appointment.

When a client says, “This will probably be his last groom,” everything changes.

You realize that for years you weren’t just grooming a dog. You were part of that dog’s life. You watched them grow old, earned their trust, and shared their journey with their family.

That’s why I believe every dog we groom becomes a little bit ours too.

Not because we own them, but because we made a promise to help give them the best life possible.

And saying goodbye never gets easier.

Hey hey everybody! Summer is fast approaching so please please please make sure you have your appointments made ahead of time. We only have a few spots left now thru August so it’s slim pickings on times.

Unfortunately I need to address a few other things as well. I know things happen and appointments are missed or can’t be made. I do my very best to try and accommodate and move things around to help you but if you can’t make your appointment please let us know asap! We do have a $25 no show fee. We ask you to let us know within 24 hrs so we can find someone to take your spot or adjust the schedule if we can so we are not sitting and waiting. Also being late I know sometimes is unavoidable but we have a tight schedule so every client has their own time. When you’re 10-20 minutes late we have to rush and that’s just not fair so please make sure you are on time!

And last but not least we all know costs are on the rise and while I try to keep our costs down as best I can we still have expenses and I hate to have to say but we are gonna have to increase our grooming prices. This is my third increase since opening the shop in 2018 so I’d say that’s pretty good 🥴. The last increase being about 3 years ago. It will be a $5 increase per dog if you have questions reach out to me. This increase will be effective July 1, 2026. I’m sorry it has to happen and I hope everyone understands.
