Rules/Guidelines
1. Training sessions last anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour maximum.
3. Vaccination Records required based on age.
4. If dog/puppy is over 4 months of age must show copy of vaccinations.
4. Must give reasonable prior notice if unable to attend scheduled session.
5. Dogs MUST be leashed at all times, unless otherwise instructed.
6. Female dogs in heat are NOT ALLOWED during heat cycle.
7. Overly aggressive dogs must wear a muzzle when instructed, or may be barred from class at the discretion of the trainer.
8. Any dog suspected of having a contagious disease will be barred from classes until treated by vet or vet tech.
9. Handlers MUST be AT LEAST 14 years of age or older. If under 14, prior approval must be obtained from Legal Parent/Gaurdian and Trainer.
10. It is best if the same person train the dog throughout the entire session.
11. Dogs over 5 months of age should not socialize with other dogs unless otherwise instructed. This is for the protection of you, your dogs, as well as others.
12. Sneakers or boots required. No open toe footwear.
13. Collar and leash required for all dogs.
14. If you are having trouble or do not understand the exercise, please ask for help. There are no stupid questions! Questions are an important learning tool.
15. Dogs nails MUST be trimmed prior to any Private Protection Sessions.
16. Play with your dog before and after each session for 5-10 minutes to help keep training as positive and fun as possible.
17. Must potty your dog before each session regardless of age.
18. End each training session on a positive note!
