A few of you have noticed that I have not been posting much and asked how Iām doing.
Iām doing great! Iāve just been busy.
I have the new E litter with Fallan and Kane here at 3 weeks old and will start posting more about them soon:). - we are very anxious to start showing them off to you!
Iāve had a lot going on this past month.
I have one girl from my āAā litter back on Sept 9th, and āDraculaā back on Aug 24th, that I coowned.
The reason given was they didnāt have enough time to train them with obedience in WDA or IGP like I wanted. - ā¦which is basic obedience for the first part. Sit, heel, come, down. Nothing hard at all.
I have the videos & the photos of the before, during and after their groomings immediately with me. Itās hard to watch the videos and pictures of the couple of days of learning to walk with short nails, no muscle tone and weak, etc.
I have had them both at our veterinarian, at Crescent Animal Hospital, immediately and on supplements recommended, etc to get them where they should be.
Nothing I could not handle thankfully!!
A few people have seen Dracula & Athena since theyāve gotten here and blessed to have a great friend of mine here both days as each of them got here to keep me calm and witness it too. -
They had never been to the veterinarian since they let me for exams or anything. - another shock!
I have them all caught up and vets notes & bills of both.
They were in quarantine here until everything cleared. Their stools were clear and no parasites:).
The body condition was the hardest part for me to see.
Dracula being 34 pounds, low on most of his bloodwork, anemic, etc at just a month ago when he shouldāve been 55-60lbs like his littermates. He had no muscle tone and very weak. He was at the vet the next morning after I got him back. Heās still on the mend to raise mildly low iron now but doing well and gaining weight, muscle, training hard & playing with me etc.. yesterday at Magnolia vet a nice 57lbsš«¶š¼āļø!
The female, originally āAthenaā and now again answers to Athena, was underweight, not as bad as the puppy, but completely and oddly no undercoat and no muscle tone either, etc. Sheās starting to get hair back. She is doing well too!! Sheās gaining muscle & weight, back to playing and running, training hard and hope to flourish each day.
This has been a very big heartbreak for me as I trusted this person, was told they wanted to train, get titles on them, the dogs were fine, doing well with training, etc. I offered my grooming so many times to see them, to train together etc. ., and when I got them back, I found out otherwise.
Iāve learned so much in this situation and thankful to have the dogs back!!!!
I am sorry to those who I referred to this person as a trainer. I see now, the experience wasnāt as I was told at all!
I will never refer a trainer unless Iāve trained with them& have seen their own dogs titled etc again!
I have loved getting updates on how our puppies are doing and so thankful to our honest and loving owners! If you ever need me, I am always here.
Kiss and hug them for me!!!
