Filing /grinding your dogs nails as short as you can go every two weeks to four weeks keeps a nice tight foot, which leads to stronger gripping to walk , which leads to stronger and better results for muscles and joints.
Long nails are just nasty for them!
Thankful to own my own spa for 35 years and make sure our dogs are fine.
Owners don’t let your GSD’s nails “tap” or “click” the floor!

We’re so excited to officially announce that Fallan StaFra Vom ZederBach “Fallan” × Feel The Fury Vom Wolfhaus “Kane” are expecting! 🎉🐶

This was a carefully planned pairing bringing together two exceptional German Shepherds with excellent orthopedics, beautiful structure, clear genetics, proven temperaments, intelligence, working ability, and versatility.

Fallan has earned her CGC, CGCA, CGCU, and TC titles — with more to come! 🖤

Kane has earned his PDC, PPD-Prep, PPD1, CGCU, DS, DJ, BCAT, and Farm Dog titles and has proven his versatility working as both a film dog and service dog.

At StaFra, every pairing is made with purpose, not for social media numbers or popularity!!
Our goal is to produce German Shepherds with the health, temperament, structure, intelligence, confidence, and working ability to truly excel — whether that’s in a working home, sport, service work, or as an exceptional companion.

People say German Shepherds are “too much work.”

And honestly?

That’s exactly why they’re incredible.

These dogs need:

exercise,
training,
structure,
leadership.

Because they’re not furniture.

They’re intelligent working dogs.

People want a dog that entertains itself, asks for nothing, and fits neatly into a lazy
routine.

That’s not a German Shepherd.

A Shepherd wants purpose.

And if you give them that?

You get one of the most loyal dogs on the planet.

So no…

they’re not “too much.”

Some people just aren’t enough for them.

Random Places, Real Life Real Training with my dogs and I 🐾☕️

Dallas and I were out just working on things in random places. Because honestly, training doesn’t always need to happen in a training facility or at home only. ❤️

The real goal is teaching our dogs how to think, listen, stay focused and make good choices wherever life takes us. Different floors, sounds, people, smells, distractions and environments are all part of building a confident, well-rounded dog.

Today’s lesson? Just hanging out, practicing patience, engagement and being a good girl while Mom does her thing. 😍🐺

And yes… I bought the shirt. 😂☕️🐕

I mean… if the shirt fits, you buy it, right?! 🤣

I’m a firm believer that some of the best training happens in the most ordinary places. You don’t always need a perfect setup—you just need a few minutes, your dog, and a willingness to work together.
