Madison County Humane Society, Indiana Madison County SPCA Humane Society is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity that receives no tax monies. Dogs are kept on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

MCHS is a no-kill cat and dog receiving shelter and rescue funded by donations, fund-raising efforts & nominal fees; we receive no taxpayer monies. MCHS shelters more than 100-115 homeless animals every day and often has some in foster care.


--This fee includes spaying / neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine for pets 4 months and older, FIV/FELV test for cats, heart

worm test for dogs 7 months and older and worming. All animals are microchipped prior to leaving for their forever homes.

🧘‍♀️ Outdoor Yoga at the Madison County Humane Society 🐾

Join us on June 20th at 6:00 PM at the Madison County Humane Society for an evening of relaxation, mindfulness, and community.
We are excited to partner with Laura Mickler, owner and instructor of Sacred Steps Yoga Studio, to bring you a peaceful yoga experience surrounded by the animals you help support.

🎟️ Tickets may be purchased at MCHS during regular business hours. If you're unable to stop by, give us a call and we can email your ticket directly to you. Proof of ticket purchase is required for entry on the day of the event.

🐾 STAFF GUESS THE DOG BLINDFOLDED part 1

🐾How well do our staff really know the dogs in our care? 🤔❤️

🐾In this challenge, our staff members are blindfolded while one of our shelter dogs is brought to them. Using only touch, personality, and a few clues, they have to guess which dog it is!

🐾Will they get it right, or will our shelter pups fool them? 😆🐶
