MONDAY MEMORIAL MOMENT 🐾

Maybe they taught you patience.

Maybe they taught you unconditional love.

Maybe they taught you how to keep going after a hard day.

Our pets leave us with so much more than memories.

What's something your pet taught you?

Every Monday, Faithful Hearts creates a Memorial Monday post which will honor the pets we assisted the week(s) prior with owners' permission.

Families are free to share this post or their pet’s individual memorial photo below on their personal pages to honor their pets with family and friends. We recently had the honor of helping the following adorable animals and their wonderful, loving families.

❤️💕 Rest In Peace.

📅 A Quick Scheduling Update from Faithful Hearts

Please note that our veterinarian Alissa will be out of state visiting family from June 22 through June 26, and no appointments will be available during that time. Last time Stetson went along and our niece Nora had a great time reading stories to him!

If you think your pet may need home euthanasia services around those dates, we encourage you to reach out as early as possible so we can discuss options and help you plan ahead if appropriate.

We know that these situations are often unexpected, and we truly appreciate your understanding while Alissa takes this brief time away. Blake will be available to help pets with cremation care through Furever Faithful Pet Aquamation.

Thank you as always for your grace and support 💙🐾

📞💙 The Best Way to Reach Faithful Hearts

When families contact us, it’s often during one of the hardest days they’ll ever experience. We know that when you reach out, you need answers, compassion, and someone who truly understands.

Because we’re a very small team, there may be times when we’re already with another family in an appointment, traveling, or caring for a pet. We never want anyone to feel ignored, so here’s the best way to connect with us:

📱 Texting (864-214-5774) is usually the fastest way to reach us. We can often respond between appointments or while coordinating our schedule.

📞 Phone calls (864-274-5756) are always welcome. If we’re unable to answer, please leave a voicemail. We return messages as soon as we’re available—typically within a few hours during regular office hours. Because of the sensitive nature of our work, we don’t return missed calls if no voicemail is left.

📧 Email ([email protected]) is a great option for non-urgent questions, pricing inquiries, or if you prefer written communication.

📝 You can also submit an appointment or pricing request through our website at any time, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

When you contact Faithful Hearts, you’re speaking directly with our small, dedicated team—not a national call center. Every conversation is personal because every pet and every family matters to us. 🐾💙

One of the most helpful things families can do for a senior pet is keep a list of what makes a day a good day.

Maybe it's:
❤️ Eating breakfast
❤️ Greeting family
❤️ Going outside
❤️ Enjoying treats
❤️ Sleeping comfortably

When the good days become fewer than the difficult ones, that information can help guide decisions.

Remember Ralph? This 23-year-old boy has been in our palliative care program for management of his gastrointestinal issues and aging-related health challenges.

Ralph’s caregiver deserves a round of applause. 💛

At Ralph’s recent palliative care recheck, one of the sweetest things we saw was the “buffet” his family has created for him — multiple food options, textures, flavors, and little tempting bites offered.

For senior and hospice pets, eating can become complicated. Appetite may change from day to day, nausea may come and go, dental discomfort may affect preferences, and sometimes what sounded good yesterday just doesn’t sound good today. Offering a gentle buffet can be a beautiful way to give a pet choice, comfort, and dignity while helping caregivers learn what feels best for them in that moment.

Ralph is so lucky to have a family paying attention to every tiny signal. This is what veterinary palliative & hospice care often looks like: creativity, flexibility, and so much love. We hope to get to a point where we can re-open intake into our hospice program in the future 🐾

You voted and we listened!

Office Kitty Tiger 🐅 is now sporting teal and purple nail caps 💅 🥰

Side note - how is this little boy (a stray kitten found near a local school) growing up so fast?!

Have you met Tiger at our office? He takes his emotional support role seriously 💙

Rose -

We haven’t helped any family with a Rose recently, we sincerely apologize if you wanted to use our services and were unable to.

We would love to know what we can do better. We always welcome feedback and truly strive to constantly improve. Please feel free to reach out via phone (863-274-5756) or text (874-214-5774).

If we’ve helped your pet, please consider leaving a review to help support us as a small local business. That gets more difficult all the time in veterinary medicine. A Google review can be left here: https://g.page/r/CRmX8wTs_lVuEBE/review.

We’d be honored if you also shared a little about your pet and any favorite photos 💙

We plan to be here for years to come to keep serving families by giving their loved ones peaceful home transitions 🐾🌈
