Custom post spraying soybeans for a neighbor. It's a unique farm that encompasses two whole sections and a few adjacent pieces so as long as we keep the waterhemp out of the field edges we've been able to get by with mostly glyphosate up to now. Unfortunately on my own ground we're not so lucky. Is glyph tolerant waterhemp as ubiquitous for the rest of you or are you able to get by with Roundup/glyphosate still?

Woke up to 6.5" in a nearly-full rain gauge Tuesday morning. With more yesterday afternoon and last night our totals close to home are anywhere from 7 to 9 inches in the last 36 hours, depending on where you're at. It was very dry before this but you've got to be careful what you wish for!

Corn looking good, if only we could get some rain!

One of the sure signs of spring on the farm -- drainage work! Bored under a county highway for a new tile outlet today.
