🇺🇸 From all of us at Alaska Dog Sports, Happy Independence Day. 🐾

As our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we join communities across the country in celebrating the freedoms we enjoy, the traditions we share, and the people who make this nation home.

July 4th is also a time to pause with gratitude and remember those whose courage, service, and sacrifice have helped protect those freedoms throughout our nation’s history. Their legacy is reflected not only in our celebrations, but in the opportunities we have to gather with family, friends, neighbors, and our faithful canine companions.

Alaska Dog Sports will be closed on July 4th so our staff and volunteers can spend the holiday with their loved ones and reflect on the significance of the day.

As you celebrate, please keep your pets in mind. Fireworks and festivities can be overwhelming for many dogs. A quiet, secure place indoors, updated identification tags, and a little extra comfort can go a long way toward making the holiday a positive one for everyone.

From our family to yours, we wish you a peaceful, joyful, and safe Independence Day. We look forward to seeing you and your dogs back in class as they resume on the 5th of July.
