The line that sticks out to me is that “very quickly, Brad had to become a dog trainer”…

When you own a dog, when you work with a dog, when you love a dog and when you need that dog to worth with you and for you, becoming a “dog trainer”, we often call them dog handlers, is a must and frankly, a privilege.

If you have the privilege to have a dog love you, you have the burden to learn how to speak in a way that dog understands. It will build the bond between human and dog greater and deeper than you ever thought possible.

I haven’t even seen this movie yet… I can’t wait to. But this was such an important line with far reaching implications that dog trainers and people who seek out dog trainers should take heed to but rarely do.

You aren’t just your dog’s “mom” or “dad”…. You are their primary trainer. Not us.

You. 🤍🐾
