Hello, Anchorage!

We're Tommy and Emily Allen, and together with our son, TJ, we're excited and honored to become part of the Poshy Paws family!

As we look forward to celebrating ten years of marriage this coming May, we're grateful for the life we've built around family, entrepreneurship, and a shared commitment to excellence. With five dogs and two Siamese cats of our own, we know firsthand that pets aren't just animals. They're family.

Tommy brings years of experience in business ownership, education, and the hair industry. As a precision barber and barbershop owner in Houston, Alaska, his work is rooted in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional service. His background also includes landscaping and sound recording, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit and creativity.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and brings hands-on business management experience from working alongside Tommy in their landscaping company. A former collegiate softball player who earned an athletic scholarship, she brings discipline, determination, and a team-oriented approach to business. Together, we believe that strong leadership begins with integrity, consistency, and genuine care for people.

Our journey hasn't been without challenges. After Tommy survived a three-and-a-half-story fall that left him in a wheelchair, our family gained a deeper appreciation for resilience, purpose, and what truly matters. That experience strengthened our desire to build businesses that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

We're incredibly grateful to Suzanna for the foundation she's built at Poshy Paws. As we prepare for this next chapter, we look forward to working alongside the talented grooming team, combining their expertise with our entrepreneurial experience, creativity, and love for animals.

Our vision is to bring fresh energy and thoughtful new experiences while preserving the quality, relationships, and exceptional care that Poshy Paws customers already know and trust.

Looking ahead, we're excited to explore creative pet-safe color services, grooming memberships, Poshy Paws merchandise, and more.

Above all, we believe a family business should treat every customer like family, including every wagging tail and furry face entrusted to our care.
