We had so much fun at the beach yesterday!!! Denali, Link and Peach had a blast and played so well together! They ran, wrestled, swam, chased each other, chewed sticks and got treats for about 2 hours! (I’ve never seen Denali sleep so hard, but he was exhausted after that play date!) I didn’t get many pictures of them, but other people did and we’ll try to post them here soon for everyone to see. Thanks for bringing Link to visit, Dustin Lafferty and Katrina! Denali is in the colorful collar, Link in black collar, and Peach is our sweet golden sister (smaller than the twin boys - they were really hard to tell apart, when running around!)

Happy Holidays, puppy parents! Who is around the Homer area over the next few days, and might want to get the pups together? Our out of town brother pup who lives in Washington, Link (Dustin Lafferty), will be in Homer around the 26th-28th, I believe. We will be bringing Denali to play with Link while they’re here visiting. If anyone else is around and wants to try to coordinate a big get together with puppies, let me know! Can you believe these babies are 11 months old already?? Maybe we should have a puppy birthday party for them in the coming weeks. Any interest in that? We can’t wait to see all the pups, again - it’s been awhile since we’ve visited any of them (busy summer)

Denali is happy for the sun today because it means the raspberries are finally ripening up. We’re all fighting over the ripe berries today, haha, Denali included!

We have a new, HUGE enclosed dog run area! Now, we’re way more flexible for meeting up for puppy sibling and parent play dates! Any time you want to come over to our house, in AP, just let me know and we can schedule something. We’re excited to have friends over! (Trampoline and picnic table in the dog run… I know it’s weird. The boys didn’t move them before putting up the cage, haha 🤷‍♀️ but, the dogs love hopping up there to hang out!)

Well, crap. I had hoped to do a puppy play date on Sunday the 14th, but my kids just contracted Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease (GROSS!) so we’re stuck at home for the next 1-2 weeks until they’re not disgusting, germy, little heathens, exposing everyone to a nasty virus. 🤦‍♀️ If anyone else wants to still get together for a play date, please feel free to organize and get together still! And, Marley (my teenager) is avoiding our sick house, and staying at his auntie’s house until littles are healthy. So, he might be able to bring Denali (and maybe mama and papa) to meet up.

Anyway! Hope everyone is staying healthy, and anyone can feel free to take over planning of a pup-date in my stead!

I’m hoping to get some puppy play dates organized, now that the weather is finally getting a bit nicer! Whiskey Gulch Grill, just north of Anchor Point, has a fenced dog park, which I thought would be a good place for us to meet up. Most of the puppies haven’t seen each other, or mom and dad since they went to their new homes. But, every time we’ve seen one of the pups (with mom and dad, or the pup we kept, Denali), there is always a ton of excitement and lots of running and wrestling and playing, so I think a fenced area is best for us. I’m hoping we can get all of the puppy parents together to meet so we are able to somewhat stay in touch with our lovely pups. Please feel free to make suggestions of other meetup locations, and let me know days/times you might prefer for meetups. Whiskey Gulch Dog Park will hopefully be opening again early next week, first week of May.
