🏡 Temporary Foster Needed for Gigi & Luna 🏡

Double the fluff, double the love! Gigi and Luna are a bonded mother-daughter duo looking for a temporary foster home in San Diego from June 21–27.

Gigi is the affectionate cuddle bug, while Luna is a playful and resilient little explorer who happens to be blind but doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. These two adore each other, love being close to their people, and are happiest when they’re together.

Can you open your home for one week and help keep this sweet pair safe and comfortable? Gigi and Luna are also still searching for the forever home they’ve been waiting for. ❤️

🚨 Foster or Adopter Needed for Honey & Caramel 🚨

Honey and Caramel joined BRB after being rescued from the Lancaster shelter in December 2025. Since then, they’ve received the medical care they needed and have been patiently waiting for their next chapter.

Honey underwent surgery to remove mammary masses, and Caramel’s chronic ear issues have been treated. The good news? They were recently matched with an adopter and finally thought their happily ever after was here.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected accident, their adopter is no longer able to adopt them. Through no fault of their own, Honey and Caramel are once again looking for a foster or forever home.

This bonded pair has been through so much together - they’re sweet, deserving dogs who simply need someone willing to give them a chance.

They’re currently located in Elk Grove, CA, but we’re searching for a foster in either Northern or Southern California — or even better, an adopter.

Bodhi needs a new place to land within the next week, and we’re hoping his person (or foster) is out there.

At just 1.5 years old and 10 pounds, Bodhi is equal parts adventure buddy and professional cuddler. He loves meeting people, going on walks, and then curling up beside you for face rubs and snuggles afterward.

He’s house trained, crate trained, affectionate, smart, and happiest when he’s with his humans. Whether you’re heading out for an adventure or settling in on the couch, Bodhi is ready to be your sidekick.

We’re looking for either:
🏡 A foster home to welcome him temporarily
❤️ An adopter ready to make him part of the family

Rescue doesn’t end when a dog leaves the shelter. In many ways, that’s when the real work begins.

This week, BRB dogs had:
• 6 vet visits
• 2 dentals
• 1 spay
• Lab work & diagnostics
• Ongoing medical treatments

From routine follow-ups to dental procedures, every appointment helps a dog get one step closer to comfort, healing, and a forever home.

These visits add up quickly, but they’re a critical part of giving our dogs the care they deserve.

Welcome to BRB, Buttercup

8-year-old Buttercup is officially safe and already settling into foster care after leaving the Baldwin Park shelter. While he was frightened in the shelter, his true personality quickly came through — sweet, happy, and so ready to be loved again.

Buttercup has already been to the vet, where we discovered blood in his urine, and he’ll need continued diagnostics and medical care as we figure out what’s going on.

Welcome to BRB, Rocket 🚀💙

Formerly known as Cloud, this sweet little guy officially has a fresh start — and a brand new name to go with it. Rocket came to us from the Carson shelter earlier this week after being surrendered.

Rocket is already winning hearts with his gentle eyes and resilient spirit. He does have a limp that will need further evaluation, but for now, he’s decompressing, getting comfy, and soaking up the love.
