Whether it's snuggling patients after a surgery or during a procedure, there's nobody that does it better than our vet techs.

As we round out celebrating this vet tech week, we just want to say thank you. If you have any special memories with Kat or Sienna, feel free to share it below ⬇

Why are we celebrating our vet techs?

Well, the answer goes beyond just because we love them. They assist in every surgery by carefully monitoring patients. They play the role of dental hygienist and clean your pet's teeth during a dental procedure. And they are so much more: nurse, x-ray technician, phlebotomist, educator.

Thank you for all that you do!

October 18th-24th is considered National Vet Tech Week!

We like to celebrate the efforts of our staff as a whole while paying extra special attention to the two people who we consider the MVPs. Without Sienna and Kat, we don't know what we'd do. Be on the lookout this week for more info about them as we go about appreciating just how much they do for us here at FAMC.

If you happen to see them this week, say hi and give a thank you!

With Halloween a couple of weeks away, are YOU prepared? It's easy to get wrapped up in the fun without realizing our pets don't appreciate the spooks as much as we do. These are a few simple things you can do to make sure our pets are enjoying the night just as much as we are!

Don't forget about our own FAMC Halloween party on Saturday, the 24th. Just a week away! It's the one night where your pets are invited to join in on the fun, so long as they find it entertaining.

This is Oonagh. She wanted to be super helpful and kick off our yearly reminders. Be sure all treats stay up and away from our furry friends as we head into the holiday season. They don't enjoy seeing us as much as we love seeing them.

Just a reminder that xylitol, chocolate, and onions are big toxic risks to dogs that we're going to see a lot more of very soon.

October is Pitbull Awareness Month!

Did you know the word 'pitbull' encompasses a lot of different purebreds as well as mixed breeds and are the most common type of dog found in shelters? Oscar and Otis came to the clinic last week to help spread the word that bully breeds can be great!

Share with us your bully breed dog to help celebrate.
