With a heavy heart 💜 I’m struck one of my favorites has gained the rainbow walk. I have no words. You were just making mom and I laugh maybe a few weeks ago. We were talking about there’s nothing like a saint. But mazie you touched so many hearts and I will be forever blessed to have met you. I love you girl go run fast and guard every day. Godspeed 🩷🖤🩷🐾

Many words about this photo but only two that many will understand “good boy”. First I want to start Silas comes in with a muzzle this does not always mean the dog is aggressive but in his defense his aggression comes from protection which many may not understand with that being said MUZZLES ARE OK! some wear them cause they eat everything others cause there jobs require and many other reasons! Here at KRD for Silas it is protection for everyone me, his mom and himself how do you ask? One Stressful times and I am the stressor so why not bite at me, two his mom is very amazing at doing what I ask by don’t put your hands in his face he still might bite out of fear your dog or not, and third we work with very sharp tools and biting them will make a horror show. Silas may never be muzzleless in the shop but that ok to BECAUSE he gets the care that is needed toe beans clipped, padded shave, bath and dry and ears on occasion. We have worked slow but last night was a huge night!!!!!!! He was a GOOD BOY! didn’t freak and kick about his feet, no snapping in the tub and almost got 100% dry. Strides from where we started! So with this message routine is important if you have a goal, a smart and confident (in this case) groomer and owner is key and last but not least MUZZLES ARE OK! To Silas good boy! 💕🐾💜💚

A huge thank you to KRD Grooming LLC. for loving on Ruby and Opal and making them feel beautiful again after having to be returned. 🥺💗

These sweet girls came back to us after a failed adoption, and while our hearts broke for them, they were welcomed right back into their foster with open arms. Ruby and Opal are true twins in every sense—best friends, comfort, safety, and family to one another.

They spent two long years together, unsold at an Amish farm, and truly were all each other had. Because of that bond, they will not be separated. Ever.

Now freshly groomed, extra fluffy, and full of hope, Ruby and Opal are looking for a forever home together—one that understands love sometimes comes as a package deal. 🐾✨

If you have room in your heart (and home) for double the love, these girls are waiting. 💕

So I don’t normally post when a client passes just cause of many reasons. But this one client of mine has been on my mind heavy and KRD clients are more like family then just another person and dog threw the door.

As some may remember my success post with paisley the German shepherd. As I groomed your little brother tonight and your big brother a weak ago I told myself I would crave but then you showed up on my history photos and I said that’s you saying it’s time to share. When I started grooming just a new bee 🐝 playing with puppies you paisley came Into my shop. You covered all the basics of dogs that get kicked out. Alligator rolls, can’t touch you, don’t look your way, forget loud nosies, muzzle used all the things. I looked at your mom and said we’re fine we can get through this.

The photo attached was that day a bath, nails trimmed all the works and your goof butt stuck under the groomers loop. But what you gave me was a chance of a life time. I will always thank you paisley as each and every tuff, scared or aggressive dog comes into the shop. I thank you that I can make a difference in that dogs life to not give up just take time. Understanding and not being scared. Because of you I can’t even count how many dogs I have helped. Because of you I expanded my knowledge. Because of you love grows strong for dogs that need a little more time at KRD. I WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU MORE EVERY GROOM. Especially when I yell out to your mom “paisleys why this dog isn’t a problem!” While she’s cleaning late on a sunday. To you paisley Godspeed. 10 to short but your job is done. Rest easy my girl you’ll forever be my biggest accomplishment of why I do what I do. 🐾💕💘🐾

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible groomer Kamryn at KRD Grooming LLC., who always - always - shows up for us. Whether its a last minute call, a tough case, or when we reach out for a grooming appointment for six puppies at once, she never flinches. She just says, "Bring 'em in!"
