🐾 PUPPY SEASON IS HERE AT THE AMORY ANIMAL RESOURCE CENTER! 🐾

Our kennels are currently overflowing with adorable puppies searching for loving homes, cozy couches, and humans to call their own. From tiny cuddlebugs to playful adventurers, we have puppies with all kinds of personalities just waiting to meet you! 💕

Every wagging tail you see here is looking for a chance at a better life, and you can help in more ways than one.

Yesterday we said goodbye to Adele, our mascot/office dog/coworker. She only stayed with us for a year, but she always was the friendly greeter for anyone who came by. She came to AARC very pregnant and had her babies in our office, fostered a few more, and was a resident mother hen to anyone who came through the door -- dog or cat.

After her babies left for rescue, she was spayed, had her cherry eyes corrected, and lived out her last days going on lunches with us and even spent weekends and holidays at home with her coworkers.

This past weekend, Adele began exhibiting symptoms of labored breathing and distress. At her vet visit, tests were run and it was determined Adele had hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive cancer. Considering Adele's major distress, inability to find comfort, as well as the early signs of organ failure, it was ultimately decided to put her at ease and humanely euthanize her.

Today, the office is distinctly empty without her presence, and it will forever stay that way. We treasured the year we had with Adele, and will forever miss her. 🐾

These 6 precious babies have officially arrived at their foster homes in Delaware!

They are now safe, settling in, and soaking up love while they wait to find their forever families. We couldn't be happier for them as they begin this exciting new chapter!

A huge Thank You to the wonderful rescue who stepped up to take them in and give them this chance at a better life!

Tiny in size, colossal in cuddle power.

At just 3.5 months old, Stella Artois is the petite princess of her Labrador, Husky, and German Shepherd mix litter. While her siblings may barrel through life like stampeding tumbleweeds, Stella prefers a gentler approach: climbing directly into your lap and gazing at you like you personally invented sunshine.

This sweet girl absolutely adores human affection. Belly rubs? Yes. Snuggles? Absolutely. Following you around like a fuzzy little moon orbiting your every step? That’s her specialty. Stella has a soft, loving personality wrapped in an adorable puppy package complete with curious eyes and just enough puppy clumsiness to keep everyone entertained.

Though she’s the smallest of the bunch, Stella’s heart is skyscraper-sized. She’s playful, affectionate, and ready to grow into a loyal best friend who will happily join you for adventures, naps, and everything in between.
