🐾🚐 TRANSPORT DAY! CONGRATS, CRITTERS! 🎉❤️

Another round of freedom rides and happy endings! 🥹🐾

First, a BIG congratulations to L.S., who left Friday morning to head to New Jersey for his happily ever after! 🏡❤️

And congratulations to these 16 sweet babies who left bright and early this morning to make their way to New York! 🗽🐾

❤️ Dot, Elvis, Cliff, Hazelnut, Joe, Dolly, Chili, Mary, Trudy, Ginger, Roger, Zoie, Maggy, Daisy, Benny, and Sam!

We are SO happy for each and every one of these sweet faces! While we will miss them, knowing they are one step closer to the loving homes they deserve makes every goodbye worth it. 🥹❤️

Here's to new beginnings, second chances, and LOTS of happy endings! 🐶🐱💕

🚨 EXPERIENCED KITTEN BOTTLE FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

Five tiny, 1-week-old kittens were brought in at the shelter and need round-the-clock care. 💔🐾

🍼 Experience with bottle babies is needed.
🍼 We will provide everything you need to care for them.
🍼 They are approximately 10-12 days old and will require frequent feedings and hands-on care.

If you have bottle-feeding experience and can help these three tiny babies, please call the shelter OR message our page.

Even if you can’t foster, PLEASE SHARE. We need to get these babies into the hands of an experienced foster as soon as possible.

🎉 HAPPY TRANSPORT DAY! 🐾❤️

Congratulations to all of the sweet dogs and cats who got their freedom rides Friday morning AND this morning! 🥹🚐

Each one is headed toward a new opportunity, a new adventure, and hopefully the forever home they’ve been waiting for. Seeing them leave the shelter and move on to something better is what makes days like these so special. ❤️

Safe travels, sweet babies! We can’t wait to see where life takes you next. 🐶🐱💕

Black cats and dogs are notoriously the most overlooked shelter dogs. Why? Supersitions have lead many people to believe black animals bring bad luck, are omens that bad luck is coming, and even sometimes that black animals are evil. Of course it isn't true, but it still brings the stigma and causes thousands of animals to miss their chance at a home every year-- all because of a silly superstition!

We're going to be sharing posts all October about black cats and dogs, trying to help break that stigma. We'll even show you one now-- Zoie!

Zoie is a 1 year old lab and pointer mix, and is easily one of the sweetest dogs in the shelter. Zoie loves other dogs, people, and even cats. She's almost totally housetrained, and she loves to eat! Her happy attitude is contagious, and she'd be amazing in a home with anyone--kids included! Don't believe it? Come meet her yourself Monday thru Friday, 10am - 5pm. She'd love to show you just how loving a black dog is, and how lucky you could be to take her home!

Meet Bonnie & Clyde: Partners in Crime, Partners for Life ❤️🐾

Every great duo has a story, and Bonnie and Clyde's began on the side of the road near the city limits. They were found wandering together, covered in ticks and clearly down on their luck. But even after everything they'd been through, they greeted every kind person they met with wagging tails, hopeful eyes, and hearts full of love.

Through it all, they never left each other's side.

Bonnie and Clyde share an incredible bond that has carried them through uncertain days, and now they're searching for a forever home where they can stay together. They truly are a package deal, and we can't imagine separating two best friends who have already overcome so much together.

The good news? You're not just adopting two dogs, you're doubling the love. These sweet companions are wonderful with people, gentle with children, and get along beautifully with other animals. Whether they're exploring the backyard, lounging on the couch, or happily greeting you at the door, they're happiest when they're together... and when they're with their people.

Bonnie and Clyde have already survived the hardest chapter of their lives. Now they're ready for the happy ending they deserve.
