Meet the Farm 🐴🐷🐮

It may be called Lucht Farms, but around here the pigs definitely aren’t the only ones demanding attention. 😂

Between the horses, cattle, pigs and everything else farm life throws our way, there’s never much sitting still.

But that’s exactly how we like it.

We occasionally have Red Wattle piglets available for new homes, so if you’re interested in adding some to your farm, feel free to follow our page or send us a message.

Farm Life Friday 🚜

Farm life isn’t always picture perfect.

Sometimes it’s early mornings, late nights, broken equipment, muddy boots, escaped animals and plans changing about five times before noon. 😂

But then you get evenings in the pasture, healthy animals and the satisfaction of watching something you raised thrive.

Those are the moments that make it worth it. ❤️

Why Red Wattles? 🐷

One of the breeds you’ll see around Lucht Farms is the Red Wattle!

Besides their unmistakable red color and wattles, we enjoy raising them because of their hardy nature and usefulness as a heritage hog breed.

We’re excited to continue improving our herd and raising quality pigs here on the farm.

Who else raises Red Wattles? Drop a picture of yours in the comments! 👇🐷

Welcome to Lucht Farms 🚜

Just another week doing what we love. ❤️

Around here, there’s always something that needs fed, fixed, cleaned, checked, or chased down. 😂 But we wouldn’t trade the farm life for anything.

Thanks for following Lucht Farms and supporting a small, local farm right here in Amherst, Wisconsin.

🐷 RED WATTLE BOAR — FOR SALE OR TRADE 🐷

Looking to sell or trade my Red Wattle boar. He has done his job here, and I’m looking to bring in a younger Red Wattle boar with different genetics for future breeding.

🔄 Would prefer to trade for a younger Red Wattle boar

🧬 Different bloodlines/genetics preferred
💰 Would also consider selling him outright
