Congratulations are in order for the stepbrothers vom Waldgeist for both passing their VGP this weekend in Honesdale, PA during and the very wet and windy Nor’easter.
Curtis with Aris vom Waldgeist - 302 Prize 1 TF. This was Curtis’ very first test EVER and he jumped right into the deep end with a lot of dog in Aris. When he called us in the spring and said he wanted to train for the test we were a little surprised but knew they would put in the work to see it through and they did not disappoint.
Adam and Alize vom Waldgeist - 304 Prize 1 TF earning top scoring dog honors out of the 7 dogs who started the weekend at the Clemo VGP. Adam worked hard all summer to make sure Greta was ready and it all came together for them. They are a great team.
Thank you guys for putting in the time and making the effort. It means a lot to us and we had so much fun training with you both all summer.
Also a big thank you to everyone who made this test weekend possible— judges, apprentices, field marshalls, test director, and everyone who helped in the kitchen. It was nasty weather and a lot of moving parts with two VGP judging groups testing simultaneously but everything was incredibly well run and in order.
Finally, it’s time… let’s go hunting.
