With our Urgent Care service, we utilize both FAST scans (Focused Assessment with Sonography) and full diagnostic ultrasounds to help identify underlying conditions and guide treatment decisions. 🐾
A FAST scan is a quick ultrasound assessment often used in urgent situations to check for abnormalities such as free fluid, internal bleeding, or other concerns that may require immediate attention. A full ultrasound provides a more detailed evaluation of organs including the liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder, gastrointestinal tract, and more. 📊📈
Common symptoms that may benefit from ultrasound imaging include:
Vomiting or diarrhea, loss of appetite, abdominal pain or bloating, difficulty urinating, unexplained weight loss, lethargy or weakness, suspected internal injury, changes in breathing or heart function, etc. 🧐
