Gizmo was surrendered to the Ames Animal Shelter last spring. He came to us malnourished and shut down. He was just a puppy so we knew if he could find the right home, he would find his joy again. A local couple who have long been champions of rescuing animals in need, adopted Gizmo and began the long process of patiently training him. He now is healthy, full of joy, and has days full of being the adorable puppy he was meant to be. Happy Holidays to this family and to all who help make these stories possible.
