Cedar is the little mare with a whole lot of job description.

She’s been a youth all-around mount and is just plain FUN to have around. She’s got an easy W/T/L, kid-level buttons, and enough know-how to take your rider from “Mom, which way do I steer?” to “Mom, I’m entering WSCA!” 😂

Round pen? ✔️
Cruising around the farm? ✔️
Trail rides? Absolutely.
Want to get serious about the show pen? She has WON that too.

Cedar loves getting out and seeing the world, but she's just as happy taking a casual cruise around home. She's the kind of horse that doesn't need everything to be a production.

And because riding is only half the horse-owning equation, Cedar is a good girl on the ground, too. She’s easy for kids and adults to handle, good for the vet, and does all the boring-but-important stuff: leads, loads, ties, and minds her manners. Cedar has been anxious at times for the farrier, and other times she's just fine.

Basically, if your kiddo is ready to level up their riding without leveling up to a giant horse, Cedar's perfect!

Cedar is still a pony, and can test her rider at times. Specifically, trying to turn back to the barn when asked to trail ride solo.

Cy is the kind of horse that makes you stop scrolling. He's gorgeous, has an in-your-pocket personality, and has a way of making friends wherever he goes!

But Cy isn't just a pretty face. This guy has a nice foundation, knows his groundwork, and rides well under saddle. He loves to MOVE OUT and can cover some ground with ease. If you enjoy a horse with a little more stride and some forward movement, Cy is your guy!

Arena work? No problem.
Trail riding? Absolutely.
Want to dabble in a little bit of everything? Cy has the potential to go in several directions!
I do think Cy would rock the long trail ride scene! He's got the endurance, and the more he goes the more he goes. He is bred for it.

Cy has been with the same owner since 2020, and they've logged plenty of trail miles together. He's been ridden all over, giving him real-world experience outside the arena. His owner hasn't ridden him this year due to age and health, but Cy has been ridden off and on here throughout the summer.

Now, let's talk about a few of Cy's quirks, because honesty matters!

Cy rides out alone just fine, but being left alone while tied or penned isn't his favorite thing. He can get pacey when separated from his buddies.
Farrier, leave him in the pasture with his herd for a farrier trim, and it's easy-peasy! Pull him out by himself for the farrier, and suddenly he's got ants in his pants.

Cy has the looks, the personality, and the miles to make someone a really fun partner. He's not a one-trick pony, and with his willingness to work in the arena and head down the trail, there's plenty of room to find your own adventure together.

3-year-old Double Registered Welsh/QH Pony | Approximately 14hh

Rudy is the kind of guy who thinks life is one big party, and he fully intends to be the guest of honor. He’s friendly, silly, loves attention, and absolutely THRIVES when there’s something new going on. Give him a little chaos, a new adventure, and an audience, and this guy is living his best life!

But Rudy isn't just a pretty face with a big personality. This is a nicely bred young pony with a world of potential ahead of him.

Rudy had a 60-day c**t start this spring and just wrapped up another 30 days of training here. He’s currently riding walk, trot, and lope, and he’ll continue in training until sold. He was also shown in hand as a yearling on the Welsh circuit.

CASPER | 12.2HH | 15 YEARS YOUNG

Don't let that age fool you. Casper is in his PRIME, and let's be honest… ponies are basically immortal anyway.

This is the kind of pony you buy to teach your kiddo how to ride, build confidence, and keep learning as their skills grow.

Put a timid beginner on Casper, and he'll happily plod around and take care of business. Put a kid on him who knows their stuff, and suddenly you've got rollbacks, leg yields, neck reining, and a whole lot more! He'll meet his rider where they're at.

Casper does have some speed in there, but he isn't out looking for a reason to use it. Ask him, and he'll deliver!

At 12.2hh, he's that *just right* size. Big enough to feel like a big horse, but small enough for a kiddo to handle comfortably.

Daizy has really come into her own lately, and I’m loving watching her personality shine!

She’s figured out that scratches are pretty great, grain is even better, and people might just be worth hanging around for.

Her groundwork is done, she learns quickly, and she handles new situations with a level head. She’s ready for someone to put those first rides on and bring her along!

I see some serious youth project potential here. She’s still young, so she needs someone ready to continue her education and put a solid foundation under her.

And can we talk about those freckles?! I have a serious soft spot for a freckled paint, and Daizy is CUTE.

This girl is NICELY built and bred, and she has the kind of personality that makes you want to keep her for yourself. She’s got a puppy-dog personality, is easy to catch, loves her people, and genuinely enjoys attention.

17-year-old Grade QH Mare • 15.1hh

Some horses need a job.
Pumpkin just needs someone to go ride.

This sweet, seasoned mare has been there, done that and is about as easy to live with as they come. She’s easy for all her cares, has no current maintenance, and is simply a pleasant horse to have around.

And what does Pumpkin really love?
TRAILS.

She is happiest out seeing the world, walking along and covering some ground. She currently rides out with at least one other horse and is happiest having a buddy along. She’ll ride around home alone without an issue, although if you ask her to leave the yard and head farther out by herself, she may need a little encouragement — and occasionally a kick or two to remind her that yes, we really are going somewhere.
Once she’s out there, she settles in and goes.

She’ll also ride in the arena at a walk, trot and lope, but Pumpkin is definitely more of a slow-and-steady girl. She’d much rather be your dependable walk/trot trail partner than your next arena superstar. She did want to drift back toward the gate some in the arena, but that wasn't an issue once we got outside and started riding around.

And honestly?
That’s where this mare shines.

Pumpkin is the kind of horse I’d like to see spending her days packing someone down the trail, seeing the sights and taking care of her person.

She walks out beautifully, covers ground, has miles under her belt, and knows her job.

If you’re looking for a flashy young prospect, I have one of those too!

But if you're looking for a seasoned, kind, uncomplicated trail horse who would rather go for a ride than win a ribbon — Pumpkin deserves a look.
