1. Do you know anyone who wants 24 dogs? We don't either. But perhaps you can save the life of just one dog!
2. All shelter dogs stay in kennels all day and receive no attention; Not SHS dogs. Our canines are handled every day. They go into outside runs in the morning and get walked on a leash by staff and volunteers every day.
3. Shelter dogs receive no enrichment; SHS dogs come inside to treats on their bed and receive a special treat to chew on every afternoon in their lunch bowl.
4. When you adopt from a shelter all you get is the animal: All SHS dogs and cats are fully vetted including their spay/neuter and a microchip with every low cost adoption.
5. All shelter dogs are pit bulls. We do have some wonderful, sweet bullies but also have husky mixes, hounds, and labs.
6. All shelter dogs are aggressive and don't like other dogs or cats. SHS dogs are paired with other canines in our play yard and are tested with felines.
7. Someone go adopt one of these dogs and save their life: Maybe that someone is YOU!!!
