9 YEARS! 🥹🐾

Today marks 9 years since FurryTail Transfurmations opened its doors!

Nine years of wagging tails, puppy kisses, dramatic nail trims, mountains of dog hair, beautiful transformations and getting to do what we love every single day. ❤️

When FurryTail Transfurmations first opened, the goal was simple: create a grooming salon where quality, education and the wellbeing of the dog always came first.

Nine years later, that is still at the heart of everything we do.

Along the way, we’ve grown in ways we never could have imagined. We’ve continued our education, earned national certifications, stepped into the show-grooming world, expanded into specialty services like hand stripping, taught and hosted educational events for other groomers, grown an incredible team, and eventually found our home in our very own building.

But the best part of these nine years isn’t something we can hang on a wall.

It’s watching the puppy who came in for their very first groom grow into a senior who still walks through our doors.

It’s earning the trust of the scared dog who once wanted nothing to do with grooming.

It’s figuring out the “difficult” dog who just needed someone to listen a little differently.

It’s getting to know families through generations of their pets.

And it’s knowing that you trust us with animals who aren’t just dogs. They’re family.

Small business ownership comes with plenty of challenges, and nine years doesn’t happen without an incredible community behind it.

So this anniversary really belongs to all of us.

To our amazing team—past and present—who have helped shape FurryTail into what it is today…

To every client who has trusted us, referred a friend, left a review, shared our posts or simply told someone, “You should take your dog to FurryTail…”

And, of course, to the thousands of dogs who have covered us in hair, slobber and occasionally things we’d rather not mention… 😂

These cuties lost a fight with a sticker bush so we whipped out our magic wand and made it mostly better. They LOVED their first spa day, even took a nap while the scissors worked their magic. 🪄✨

We had a blast at Dog Days hosted by The American Fork Recreation Center! They did a fantastic job with the event and we were in heaven loving on all the cute pups!

A little good news for our clients going into the new year. ❤️🐾

Every year, we review our pricing to keep up with the rising costs of running a professional grooming salon. Products, equipment, sharpening, maintenance, insurance, wages, continuing education…just about everything that goes into caring for your dogs costs more than it did the year before.

And professional grooming is so much more than a haircut.

You’re trusting us with a member of your family. You’re paying for experienced hands that understand canine behavior, recognize when a dog is stressed or uncomfortable, notice changes in skin, coat or body condition, know when a groom needs to be modified for safety, and have the skills to work with everything from puppies and seniors to difficult dogs and specialty coats.

You’re also supporting a team of professional groomers who continually invest in their education, equipment and craft so we can provide the quality of grooming and care our clients expect from us.

Historically, we’ve adjusted our prices each year to keep pace with those costs. This year, we’ve decided not to.

We know groceries cost more. Housing costs more. Insurance costs more. Pretty much life costs more right now. And we know your dogs still need to be groomed regardless of what the economy is doing.

So for 2027, we are skipping our annual salon-wide price increase. ❤️

This isn’t because we believe our services are worth less. Quite the opposite. We’re incredibly proud of the level of skill and care our team provides.

It’s simply one small way we can give something back to the clients who continue to trust us with their dogs.

Thank you for supporting a locally owned small business, trusting our groomers, referring your friends, leaving reviews, sharing our posts and allowing us to love on your dogs year after year.

We appreciate you more than you know. 🐾
