It is going to be HOT, HOT, HOT. 🔥Use extreme caution with your pets and limit outdoor activity over the next few days.

Heat can impact dogs differently. Dogs who are obese, brachycephalic (snub-nosed like Frenchies, Bulldogs, Pugs, etc.), less than 6 months or senior-aged can be especially susceptible to hot temperatures. The heat can be life-threatening.

☀ Make sure you know the signs of heat stroke in dogs, which include excessive, heavy panting, excessive drooling/foaming, bright red gums/tongue, lethargy, weakness, dizziness, and disorientation. If you see any of these signs, seek immediate veterinary care.

A Little About Me...
I love to swim and I'm a natural retriever — it's in my bones. But don't let that fool you into thinking I'm a wild child. I'm calm, settled, and just genuinely good. I'm the dog who follows you around while you garden, trails behind the kids while they play in the yard, and curls up close when the day winds down. People say I'm nurturing. I just call it being devoted. 💛
I adore other dogs, kids, cats — you name it, I'm easy. I ride beautifully in the car, I'm crate trained, house trained, potty trained, and I don't chew or destroy a single thing. Bath time? No drama. A leisurely walk is lovely, but it's not a dealbreaker if life gets busy.
One small confession — I am very food motivated, so you'll want to keep an eye on the snack situation. 😄 Other than that, I'm fully healthy, no allergies, and never been sick a day in my life.
I'm not looking for adventure or chaos. I'm looking for a couch to call mine, a yard to wander, and a person — or a whole family — to love deeply and quietly every single day.

Thoughtfully placed by North Star Labradors
