This is Tazie. She is completely white in her coat coloring. Tazie is a Poodle, who is 3-5 years old. She is so sweet and so cute, but a bit timid. Tazie is ready for a new home. Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. 806-622-0555.

This year has been BRUTAL when it comes to Fleas and Ticks in the Texas Panhandle.

We have answered SO MANY calls from people desperate for help, because their typical over-the-counter products are just NOT WORKING. We have had to administer BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS to some pets who became severely anemic due to these parasites!

Here are our favorite products for your pets, your yard, and your home:

#1 - Oral Flea and Tick preventatives: Credelio, Credelio Quattro, or Bravecto
These are given either once monthly or once every 3 months and will kill fleas and ticks as they bite your pet. *Dog Only*

#2 - Topical Flea and Tick preventative - for cats: Bravecto Feline.
This is a topical treatment that is applied every 8 weeks and effectively kills fleas and ticks as they bite.

#3 - Injectable Bravecto Quantum -
This option is for dogs only, and protects for a whopping 12 months!

#4 - Adams spray- This is the best option for our little bitty baby kittens and puppies, it is not systemic (long lasting) but will kill on contact.

#5 - Vet-Kem Home Spray and Yard Spray-
These treatments are for the areas in and around your home that these pesky parasites might be hanging out and waiting for a four legged meal to walk by.
