Sit pretty. Smile big. Ready for the real world!

Morgan is showing off her Sit in the middle of a busy home improvement store, and that happy open-mouth grin says she's loving every minute! Sit is one of the most useful commands in everyday life. It gives your dog a polite way to say hello, wait for a leash to go on, or pause when things get exciting. 🐾

Morgan is working hard during her 2-Week Advanced Board & Train, and this sweet girl is proving that a solid Sit can hold up in public, not just at home. Great job, beautiful girl! Want dog training in Amarillo, TX that works in the real world? Call 806-680-6845. 🐶

Proof that polite greetings can be taught to any dog

Sydney, a 4-year-old Bichon Frisé, came to us in Amarillo working on her greeting manners, and now she says hello calmly instead of getting carried away.

This level of Bichon frise manners is built one session at a time through consistent dog training.

Sydney did her work in our 2 Week Board & Train, and this is a behind the scenes look at how she handled it.

🐾🔥 GREAT TRAINERS NEVER STOP LEARNING! 🔥🐾

What a weekend! 💪🐕 We had the opportunity to attend an incredible training summit this weekend, spending it surrounded by some of the most respected and accomplished trainers from across the country! 🇺🇸

From Michael Ellis, Stephanie Vichinsky, Jay Jack, Omar Von Muller, Larry Krohn, and Bob & Erika Solimini, we had the chance to soak up knowledge, hear different perspectives, and learn from years of experience in the dog training industry! 🧠🐾

💡 Why does this matter to YOUR dog?

Because we believe being a great trainer means never getting comfortable with what you already know. There’s always another technique to learn, a different perspective to consider, and another tool to add to our toolbox! Every seminar we attend, every conversation we have, and every bit of knowledge we bring home helps us continue growing as trainers.

❤️ Your dogs aren’t just another training appointment to us. They’re part of your family. And your family deserves trainers who are constantly investing in their education, sharpening their skills, and striving to provide the very best training experience possible. We’re bringing home fresh knowledge, new perspectives, and even more motivation to keep doing what we love!

🐕 The learning never stops, because YOUR dogs deserve our best!

🎃 Jimmy understood the assignment! 🎃
2 Week Advanced Board & Train Jimmy is showing off one of the reasons we LOVE the place command and no, “place” doesn’t have to mean one specific dog bed!

Place can be any clearly defined, elevated or different surface from the surrounding ground. A dog bed, bench, cot, platform, scale, or even this pumpkin display can become a place with the right training. 🐾

Why does that matter? Because we want Jimmy to understand the command, not just memorize one object. That makes place something his family can actually use in everyday life while cooking dinner, answering the door, hanging out at a restaurant patio, visiting family, or simply when he needs to settle instead of being underfoot.

The pumpkins provided the perfect fall backdrop AND another opportunity to generalize his training to a different surface. Pretty sure Jimmy thinks the photo shoot was the important part though. 😂🎃

Double the Rotties, double the focus! 🐾 Briella and Amira put in some great work together during their training session, practicing place while also working on their food manners.

Training around each other adds another layer of distraction, especially when food is involved! Learning to stay calm, hold position, and wait patiently helps build the impulse control that carries over into everyday life at home. These two are making it look pretty easy! 💪
