🤩 WOW—WHAT A WEEK IN DES MOINES! 🤩

We had an incredible week at the Iowa Quarter Horse Show & RHF! First off, the facility is absolutely STUNNING after its renovation—hands down one of the cleanest, nicest facilities I’ve ever shown at. And the Iowa Quarter Horse members could not have been more friendly and welcoming. ❤️

Day 1 started with AQHA Ranch Riding, Ranch Rail, Reining & Trail—and all three horses showed up!

🌶️ Chilly Run
🥇 1st — L1 Ranch Riding with a 77.5
🥉 3rd — Ranch Reining
✨ Top 10 — Ranch Trail

⚡️ Electric Feelz
✨ Top 5 — Ranch Rail
✨ Top 10 — Ranch Riding
And a great schooling run in Ranch Reining!

💖 Spontaneous Spark
Spark schooled beautifully in Ranch Rail and Ranch Riding, getting ready for the RHF the following day…and that preparation definitely paid off!

Then it was time for the RHF, and both Spark and Electric Feelz had a BIG week!

⚡️ SPONTANEOUS SPARK ⚡️

Spark started off with a 6th-place finish in RHF Ranch Trail, earning his FIRST PAYCHECK—over $900! 💰 He also placed in the IRHA for another $140!

Then came Ranch Riding…

Because of the rain, Spark had been sitting in his stall for about 4–5 hours and went in with ZERO warm-up. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more from him. He walked into that arena completely honest, focused and listening to me every single step.

He earned a 228.5, even with 3 penalty points from hitting a log!

🥉 3rd in the RHF Ranch Riding
🥈 2nd in the IRHA
💰 Around $1,500+ in RHF earnings, plus additional IRHA money!

Then it was on to Ranch Ideal, where Spark made the finals and finished 12th overall in an incredible group of horses. Just outside the money—but definitely ☝️ in my ❤️.

More than any placing or paycheck, Spark showed me something this week: HE WANTS TO BE A SHOW HORSE.

Every single time I walked into the arena with him, he was 100% with me. He listened, trusted me and made my job so incredibly easy and FUN.

I’m truly blessed to get to train and show this most perfect Barbie Prince. 👑💖⚡️ I am SO excited about his future!

⚡️ ELECTRIC FEELZ ,JESS and Heather ⚡️

These 3 had an incredible RHF!

✨ RHF Ranch Trail — 6th Non Pro & 8th Open
✨ RHF Ranch Riding — 8th Non Pro & 6th Open
✨ Open Ranch Ideal — 8th in a VERY salty class full of exceptional 4-year-olds!

But my PROUDEST accomplishment for Ellee and Jess came in the RHF Cow Work. 👏🏼🐄

Cow work is brand new to BOTH of them—they’ve only been working on it for about FOUR WEEKS—and they walked in there and earned a 4th-place finish! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

That one made me incredibly proud. This is just the beginning for these two in this discipline, and I cannot wait to see where it takes them!

💰 Electric Feelz finished the week with just over $2,600 in total earnings!

What a week. What a group of horses. ❤️

I’m coming home incredibly proud, grateful and excited about what’s ahead. These horses showed up, tried their hearts out and reminded me exactly why I love doing this so much.

Des Moines, you were GOOD to Diamond H Training! 💎🐴❤️

More to come later on all the accomplishments from Diamond H Training in Iowa… but first, I have to make a special post about one extremely special horse. ❤️

3-year-old Spontaneous Spark ⚡️ “Spark”

This week, Spark showed me that he doesn’t just have the talent—he wants to be a show horse. And that might be what makes me the most excited about his future.

First, let’s talk about his penalty-free Ranch Trail performance. 🙌 This young horse walked into the pen, handled his job, and earned himself his first paycheck of the week! 💰⚡️

For a 3-year-old, I couldn’t have been more proud of the way he stepped up and showed me just how much confidence, try, and maturity he’s gaining. All the work we’ve put in at home is starting to come together in the show pen—and Spark made it pretty clear that he is ready for this.

And Ranch Trail was only the beginning… 😉⚡️

“On behalf of myself and all the other small breeders to whom you afford this opportunity, thank you.” ❤️

I’m so excited about the future of this c**t, Shakkin Not Stirred, aka Casino
007 × Lite Of Hollywood 🖤

Casino is headed to Florida! 🌴

Selling horses privately from Amarillo can be tough, so I’m incredibly thankful for the prospect sales that give small breeders like me the opportunity to showcase the horses we’ve raised—while allowing me to keep them here, show fit them, and present them online until sale time.

Raising these babies is truly one of my greatest joys. ❤️ Watching them grow from babies in my pasture, developing their personalities and talents, and then seeing them move on to great programs where they have the opportunity to prove themselves is pretty darn special. 🥹

Best of luck to the new owners of this fantastic c**t! I can’t wait to follow along and cheer for Casino as he starts this next chapter. 💙

Thank you to everyone involved in providing these opportunities for breeders like me. It means more than you know. 🙏

I can’t wait to show this special boy in just a few weeks at the Iowa Ranch Horse Futurity! 🤎

We’ve put in the work… now it’s time to go have some fun, Spark! 🙌🏼

I feel so blessed to have Spontaneous Spark come through my program. Every day is a good day with this horse. He’s athletic, happy, and always wants to please. But as much as I love riding and showing him, it’s the little things that make him so special to me—like walking into the barn every morning and seeing him peek his head over the stall, waiting for his good-morning kisses. 🥹❤️

Horses like this are why I love what I do. Spark has such a bright future ahead of him, and I’m so grateful I’ve gotten to be a part of his journey.

Now let’s go to Iowa and have some fun, buddy. ✨🔥

This yearling… he’s just so special. ❤️

Shakkin Not Stirred, aka Casino, is one of those horses who just melts my heart. He meets me at the gate with a nicker and is already trying to put his head in the halter before I even have it ready. 🥹

He’s beautiful, incredibly affectionate, and has the biggest personality. But what makes him even more special is how willing he is. Everything I’ve asked of him so far, he’s taken in stride and tried his heart out.

There’s just something about this c**t. I truly believe Casino is destined for the brightest future, and I’m so excited to see where life takes him. 💙

These home-raised babies sure have a way of making you fall in love with them. Casino is definitely going to be a hard one to let go.

It was so great to finally meet Blanche’s new owner! 🤍

When you raise them from the very beginning, you always hope and pray they end up in a great home—and I know Blanche has done just that. It was also so fun getting to watch Bandi and Blanche’s very first ride together go so well! Blanche is such a cute mover, and I can’t wait to watch these two grow together and see what the future holds for them. 🐴✨

Blanche is Raven’s first baby to officially leave the nest, so this one is definitely a bittersweet moment for me. 🥹🤍 Raising these babies, watching them grow, and then handing the reins over to someone else is never easy—but seeing them go to the right person makes it so worth it.

I’m so excited for Bandi and Blanche and can’t wait to cheer on all of their future successes together! ❤️
