I have put this off time and time again- but I do believe it is official and final now. With my Clinical Year of Vet School begining in May and my health still creating challenges when it comes to working in the heat and doing manual labor- J.L Farrier Service is now closed.
I want to thank everyone who has ever done me the honor of letting me take care of their horses, and supported me on both my journey as a Farrier and now as a Vet Student and Future DVM.
Upon graduation, I will full transition this page to a professional profile so anyone interested and follow my career as a DVM.
If you are in need of a Farrier, I recommend checking the American Farriers Association Website as they have a directory of their members and certified farriers, or calling your local feedstore, or your equine Vet, to see who they recommend. Wellshod in Amarillo, D&L in Aubrey, and The Texas Farrier Supply in Kennendale are great resources for Farriers between DFW and the Panhandle.
