Big thank you to Dlesa for finding this baby and allowin me to help her from her Bo***ge of hair.

🐾 From Matted & Hurting to a Fresh Start ❤️
Sometimes grooming is about so much more than making a dog look pretty. Sometimes it is about giving them relief.

This sweet girl was found wandering and came to us with severe, tight matting covering much of her body. As we carefully began removing it, we discovered what the coat had been hiding—ticks, irritated skin, sores, and areas that desperately needed some relief.

Because of the condition of her coat and skin, we chose not to push her through everything at once. Her groom became a two-day process.

Day one was about removing the heavy matting, getting the ticks off of her, and giving her body a chance to rest.

Today was day two. ❤️ We finished her groom, cleaned her up, and finally got to see the beautiful girl who had been hiding underneath all of that hair.

Just look at her after picture. 🥹🐩

This is why severe matting is more than cosmetic. What looks like "just tangled hair" on the outside can hide so much underneath. Our priority will always be the comfort and safety of the dog in front of us.

And now comes the next chapter of her story…

🏡 SHE IS LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME!

She will remain with a foster while she gets up to date on her vaccinations and has some time to recover. She will also go to her new family with a bag of dog food to help with her transition.

There will be a $50 rehoming fee. We aren't looking for just any home for this girl—we want the right home that understands the lifelong grooming and care a coat like hers requires.

After everything she's been through, she deserves to never have to feel that kind of discomfort again. ❤️

Here are images of what came off of this lovely doodle that had been roaming. This will be a few step process. Today was getting all the mats of. Which I did my best at. She was infested with ticks. She has several sores on her body. With all that she has been through though she was a trooper. She will be coming in again this week probably thursday to help with a really good bath, hopefully we can get her ticks off by then. The foster will be having to keep a happy hoodie on to help her not Shack her head as her ears had to be shaved with a 10bland. Face with a 10 blad, some areas on her body with a 7F amd some areas with a 10b blade. This baby needs not to go back to the owners and they need to pay the shape that she was in. Thank you Dlesa for trusting me with this baby. We will get her to feeling better soon. As for now can we have prayers for her and the lovely people that have taken her in.
