With colder weather on its way here, you may notice some of our older pups taking a little longer to get up, moving a bit slower, or not quite as eager to run and play as they once were.

This can be a good time to talk with your veterinarian about joint support.

Today marks one year since we officially took the reins of Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital — and roughly a year and a half since we stepped into management of this practice we love so much.

What a year it has been!

From long days and unexpected challenges to exciting changes, new faces, growing our team, and getting to care for so many wonderful animals and their people, this past year has been full of growth, learning, and memories we will always cherish.

Most importantly, we couldn't have done it without all of you.

To our clients, thank you for trusting us with your animals and allowing us to be a part of their lives. To our friends, neighbors, local businesses, producers, and the entire Woods County community, thank you for supporting a locally owned veterinary hospital and cheering us on along the way.

We are incredibly grateful for every appointment, every referral, every kind word, every recommendation, and every bit of encouragement you've given us. Your support means more than you know.

To our Ridgeview Team, Veterinary medicine is not a one- or two-person job, and we are incredibly grateful for the people who show up every day, work hard, care deeply, and help keep this place moving forward. Through it all, our staff has continued to give their time, energy, and compassion to our patients and clients. We are so thankful for each and every one of you and couldn't do what we do without you.

We are proud of where Ridgeview is today, excited about where we're headed, and honored to continue providing veterinary care to our community for years to come.

As part of our continued commitment to making quality mixed animal veterinary medicine more accessible to the communities we serve, we’re incredibly excited to announce that as of today, Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital officially has TWO veterinarians again!

We are so excited to welcome Dr. Erica Nightengale to the Ridgeview family and to introduce her to our clients, friends, and neighbors.

Please join us in giving Dr. Nightengale a big Woods County welcome! We’re so excited for our clients and community to get to know her, so we’d love to share a little more about her and what brought her to Ridgeview:

Dr. Erica Nightengale is a 2026 graduate from Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She is from Billings, OK where her family has farmed and raised livestock for many years. She’s a third-generation graduate from Billings High School and was very active in her local FFA chapter. After graduating from high school, Erica attended Oklahoma State where she received her Animal Science degree and stayed for vet school. Erica is very passionate about food animal medicine, especially bovine medicine, but loves working with animals of all kinds. She loves getting to know her clients and patients and is a big fan of the rural lifestyle. When not in the clinic, Erica loves spending time with her family, friends, pets, and livestock. Erica has been showing and raising sheep for 18 years and takes pride in caring for her flock. She also enjoys watching pro rodeo, reading, cooking with her mom, and helping out with her family’s cattle and other projects around the farm. Erica is super excited to be joining Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital!

We are still in the process of porting our office number over from Otto to the new system, so reminders are not coming from our office number at this time.

Everything client-facing will live in your new app or your online portal account. The Otto app and online portal are still functional for now but will be phasing out in the coming weeks.

We've loved your feedback on Otto (our digital communications platform) and our online pharmacy capabilities — and we're taking it a step further. Next week we're going live with a new system that brings together digital communication, reminders, online pharmacy access and prescriptions, digital records, digital payments, and everything our old medical record system did, all in one place!

That means that sadly we will be saying goodbye to Otto as we make the switch. We will share all the new app/website/pharmacy details as soon as we're live. We appreciate your patience while our team gets everything up and running.
