Congratulations to Andy Johannesen and Jett on their 199 Utility Prize I at the Buffalo Ridge Navhda . Thanks to Wild & Uncurried Creations, LLC for the pictures. Thanks Darin Tolzin for all your help prepping him for this. Thanks Amber Tolzin for live streaming score reading so I could be part of the results. Thank you both for letting me use C**t. This is our first Utility tested dog and Andy's first time running utility. Proud doesn't begin to describe the scream and tears I felt when I heard the scores read. Congratulations!

Happy opening day of bow season! Travis and Alli were able to help a 7 year old hunter locate one Monday night (during youth season). This marks our 7th tracking season and this year has presented some health challenges for both people and dogs. We've built up quite the clientele over the seasons. You won't find us listed on "the" public map, but we are still here happy to help we just won't be taking on many new clients. That said if you are new and local and need help reach out. We've also had the opportunity to help train with several teams from across the state during the spring and summer. We love helping new teams get started because there is no better feeling in the world than when you can say you found the deer.

The last of our birthday glow ups/updates. K9 Binx. My first dog to certify. My first dog to qualify and take me to a national stage. Pretty much every puppy born here takes a little piece of my heart, but this boy has the majority of it. I'm so excited to continue our journey together and learn all the lessons he is going to teach me and do all the things with him. Couldn't be prouder to be on the end of his leash.

Bocephus also celebrated her fourth birthday. She loves hunting particularly squirrels and has spent the summer preparing for duck hunting. She is the dam to our D litter. A good game of frisbee is a great way to pass the time in the off season. Her human describes her as nearly perfect and I couldn't agree more. She lives locally so I was excited to be able to spoil her with a cake from 's Cozy Cake's.

K9 Mollee was the pup we donated to Penn Vet Working Dog Center. She was their first GSP and graduated December 15, 2025. Upon graduation she was partnered with Hannah Ashmore of Longsnouts Dog Training and MI Conservation Dogs . She is trained in conservation detection. Her first project involved spotted lantern flies and she also did work with some endangered turtle species. I've enjoyed getting to know Hannah this last year and seeing Mollee work/train. Eastern Iowa Working Dog Association has even had the opportunity to welcome her as a guest speaker at one of our meetings. Be sure to follow Mollee on her social media accounts to stay up to date with her exciting career.

Rieger at 4 years old. His family describes him as a good dog, great hunter, lots of energy. Pretty handsome too.😁 He would have to agree.

Happy 4th birthday to the B - litter! Bocephus, Rieger, K9 Mollee, K9 Binx, K9 Bilbo, K9 Grace, K9 Gertie, K9 Betty. An awful lot of working dogs in our first litter. I'll be updating their individual albums too so hopefully you are ready to see these glow ups. This litter is the inspiration for some upcoming plans too. Stay tuned.
