❤️‍🩹 A Little Love, a Lot of Care, and the Road to Recovery for Diesel🐾

This week, our hearts went out to Diesel, a sweet 1-year-old pup who was hit by a car and suffered a serious injury. At an age when he should be busy playing, exploring, and enjoying puppyhood, Diesel and his family suddenly found themselves facing a frightening and unexpected situation. 💔

But Diesel is surrounded by something pretty special: the very best parents a pup could ask for. ❤️ Their love for him is evident, and we know how scary it is to see a member of your family hurting. We’re so grateful they trusted our team to care for their boy during such a difficult time.

🩺 A little look at Diesel’s surgery:

Diesel sustained a mid-diaphyseal femur fracture, meaning the middle portion of his thigh bone was broken. To repair the fracture, our veterinary team performed an open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) using a 9-hole bone plate and screws.

Bone plates and screws are a standard orthopedic treatment for fractures of long bones, such as the femur. The plate helps stabilize the bone, resist the forces placed on it, and provide the support needed for healing.

Now, Diesel's job is to rest, heal, and let his wonderful family spoil him while he recovers. We’ll be cheering him on every step of the way!

Please join us in sending Diesel and his amazing parents all the love and positive thoughts as they navigate his road to recovery.🐶❤️

Just a couple of kitties enjoying the good life! 🐱💙

One is keeping watch from the top, while the other is hanging out in the kitty condo. 😂We can all agree that the cat tree is a pretty great place to spend the day!

We love getting to know all the different personalities that come through our doors. ❤️

Tell us about your cats! Are they climbers, hiders, or do they think they own the whole house? 😹
