My kiddos brought inside and put them in the tank with our betta fish 🤦🏻‍♀️ I transferred them to their own tank and we’re working on setting it up for them. Have you ever experienced this? Feel free to share all of your tips for this fun learning experience.

🐢 While walking some of our furry friends today, we came across this in need of rescue! Evelyn, Phoebe, and I reached out to another client in the neighborhood and they gave us permission and some help to put this fella in the creek behind their house 🥰 that was a fun adventure!

Yikes! I just had a scare. I was walking Jake and Roxie and we passed by some people working in the yard. I said, “Good morning”, and they said, “hi” back and started talking sweetly to the pups. Naturally, that drew Jake and Roxie to them in yard to go say hi. Unfortunately, they had a little dog which I didn’t see or hear deeper in the yard behind some bushes, who came and charged at Jake and Roxie. While they are both great with humans, they are leash reactive towards other dogs, which is what happened. Fortunately, I pulled Jake and Roxie back while the owner picked up her dog. After I got Jake and Roxie home, I went back to check on the dog and thankfully he is totally okay 💕 I apologized profusely and told her that I should have looked more to be more aware of if there was a dog. She said there was no need to apologize and she told her dog to sit but he didn’t listen.

I cried hard. I felt so bad for the situation, felt afraid of what could have happened, and felt so incredibly appreciative of her compassion. The dog was in their front yard without a leash, which, to my understanding for their city, is totally okay to do. I keep looking back and running over everything in my head. I’m just so thankful that he is okay and no harm was done 🙌 also scared about the potential of it happening again with other dogs in the future, and am anxious trying to figure out how I can prevent it from happening. I’ll definitely work to be more vigilant.
