Our Fourth of July giveaway was a complete success. Jennifer Seales was the winner of the blanket, pictured here at Embers grooming, and the winner if the small toy was Missie, also pictured, and it was perfect for her.
Somebody tell Rusty Holomy to come get his BIG toy! We haven’t seen him recently!

Another brag on the students that work with us!
Sophia in Springfield to accept her award for placing in the essay contest of the American Legion. This was for Freshmen and Sophomores. And she had to take off work to get it!!! But Wade was a good guy and worked her shift, so he gets kudos too!

Be SURE to keep your dog inside in the A/C this week, or if it must be outside, provide shade and lots and lots of FRESH water. This weather is as hard on dogs as it is on us!!
That being said, remember, not EVERYONE is thrilled by fireworks. Please be kind. If you know your dog us upset by them and has medication, give it early enough to be effective. And be sure to send it with your dog when you bring to board. We will for sure medicate anyone who needs it. And send enough. Some areas are having celebrations on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of July! We are actually far away from where most of the fireworks go off, but dogs hear WAY better than we do. Let's keep all our friends safe!
