Tonight I lost one of my first clients from when I opened my stationary salon. This little, sweet, unassuming guy that just melted your heart named Teddy. Over the last 11 years, I've had the honor of taking care of him. Until his health started to decline, I saw him every 5 weeks. He adored his mom and they shared such a special bond. Love you Teddy bear and you will be incredibly missed.

Today, just as I was arriving at the salon I saw a woman walking 3 dogs. One was a black doodle. I of course stopped about 10 feet from them and said hello. The doodle pulled away to come see me and the leash holder told me this was Max. I really need to actually notice the people and not just the animals, because when I looked up I knew who it was. This sweet boy, i had groomed for years until his mom had to enter a care facility. Her friend and dog walker took him in, and this was the person I so rudely paid little attention to. But there was sweet Max. I have pictures of him as a puppy and her he was, a bit gray, but still that sweet heart. She told me he must remember me because he never pulls away like that. Just touched my heart.
