❤️ The People Who Make Veterinary Medical Center Special: Shamy!

Our Employee Spotlight series celebrates the wonderful people whose experience, compassion, and dedication make VMC such a special place.

This time, we're celebrating Shamy, our Technician Manager, who has been part of our veterinary family for 20 years!

Shamy started her journey working our Crabapple Knoll location before making her way to Veterinary Medical Center. Over the years, she's grown into an incredible leader who now manages and helps trains our technician team.

Anyone who knows Shamy knows she has a huge heart for animals. She treats every patient like her own and brings genuine kindness, compassion, and understanding to the pets and families in our care. She has a special place in her heart for senior and special-needs animals and has spent years fostering rescues who need a little extra love.

At home, Shamy has four previous VMC strays : Mac the Dachshund, Frank the Chihuahua, and cats Holly and Ivy!

Outside of work, she enjoys Broadway shows, Pokémon Go, and 5Ks. She's also been involved with the Cherokee County elections office since high school!

Shamy and her family are excited to welcome Baby Rani in 2027!

We're incredibly grateful for Shamy and the 20 years of hard work, compassion, and love she's given to our patients, clients, and team. She's a wonderful example of what makes our VMC family so special.
Help us celebrate Shamy and show her some love in the comments! 💕

❤️ The People Who Make Veterinary Medical Center Special: Becky Schult ❤️

We want to celebrate the people who make our clinic what it is, so we're starting a new Employee Spotlight series to introduce you to the familiar faces who make a difference every day!

First up is Becky Schult, and if you've been to Veterinary Medical Center, we're sure you'll recognize her smiling face! Becky has been part of the VMC family for 26 years and has been the Receptionist Manager since 2013. She's the one helping keep our front desk running smoothly and making sure things stay organized behind the scenes. She loves getting to know the people and pets in our community. She especially enjoys working alongside her twin sister, Rachel, and an amazing group of coworkers who have become like family over the years. ❤️

Away from the clinic, Becky enjoys traveling with her husband, John, spending time with their two dogs, Stevie and Ridley, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. She also loves spending time with her nieces and nephews and watching them grow up.
We're so grateful for Becky and the 26 years she's spent caring for our clients and their pets.
Help us celebrate Becky and say hello in the comments! 💕

🌸 Sweet Georgia Midnight is recovering in style! 🌸

Adopted from Veterinary Medical Center in July, Georgia Midnight (formerly Adelaide) has found herself a wonderful family to call her own. After her spay yesterday, her family let us know she’s doing great! And just look at her, all curled up in her cozy bed with her pretty flower collar. 🌼

We’re so happy this sweet girl found such a loving home and is doing well after her procedure! 💕

🐾 Velma & Fred are still looking for their forever homes! 🐾

These two sweet tabby kittens are about 13 weeks old and ready to find their people! Fred is the darker tabby, and Velma is the lighter one. ❤️

They can be a little shy when they first meet you, but once they have a little time to get comfortable, their friendly personalities start to shine. They just need someone willing to give them a little patience while they come out of their shells. 🥰

✨ Combo tested negative
✨ Vaccines are up to date for their age

Adoption Fee: $155

Their adoption fee includes:
🐾 Spay/neuter at 6 months of age
🐾 HomeAgain microchip
🐾 First month of Revolution
🐾 Age-appropriate vaccines and lab work

If you're looking for a couple of sweet kittens to add some fun (and a whole lot of cuteness!) to your life, Velma and Fred would love to meet you! 🐱❤️
