Village Tailwaggers 📍 Located in the heart of Alpha, MI, we offer professional and loving grooming services for your furry friends. Hi there!
(1)

From baths and haircuts to nail trims and ear cleaning, we treat each pet like family. 🐶🐱. I’m Tracy, a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for four-legged friends 🐶🐱. From the moment I could remember, animals have always been a part of my life, and over the years, I've developed an unwavering passion for making them feel loved, pampered, and happy 💖. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a pet transform after a good grooming session—it’s more than just about looks; it's about helping them feel their best ✨. As a pet groomer, I love working closely with each furry family member to ensure they’re not only looking fabulous but also feeling relaxed and comfortable 🛁💅. Whether it’s a soothing bath, a stylish cut, or just a little extra TLC, I’m dedicated to giving your pets the care they deserve. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to get to know them, creating a personalized grooming experience that leaves them looking and feeling amazing 🐾💖. When I’m not grooming, you’ll probably find me spending time with my own furry companions or learning new techniques to improve my skills 🐾📚. My goal is simple: to make every pet feel as special as they truly are. It’s an honor to be a part of their grooming journey, and I can’t wait to help your pets shine! ✨🐾

🐾 SUNDAY FUNDAY! 🐾

No fur flying at the Village Tailwaggers grooming table today, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little furry fun! ❤️

Today is YOUR pet's chance to shine!

We want to see those adorable faces, goofy expressions, crazy sleeping positions, and little troublemakers who rule your household!

Dogs, cats, puppies, kittens... bring 'em all!

Drop a picture of your fur baby in the comments and tell us their name and ONE thing that makes them special.

Are they a professional couch potato? A certified treat inspector? Or maybe the self-appointed neighborhood security officer who barks at every leaf that blows by? 😂

Let's fill this comment section with some furry cuteness!

From my furry family to yours, have a wonderful Sunday! ❤️

Yesterday’s nail-model Rubbel is here to demonstrate. 😂

🐾”LETS TALK TOENAILS! 🐾

I’m taking a break from the flying fur today, so I figured it was the perfect time to share this nail appointment from yesterday that I forgot to post. 😆 Better late than never!

💅 Why are regular nail trims so important?

Overgrown nails aren’t just a cosmetic issue. When a dog’s nails get too long, they can make walking uncomfortable, change how the paw sits on the ground, and put extra stress on the feet and legs.

🐶 A few signs it might be nail-trim time:
• You hear the click-click-click across the floor.
• Nails are starting to curl.
• Your dog is slipping more on hard floors.
• Their paws look like they’re changing position when standing.

And here’s something important: the longer nails are allowed to grow, the longer the quick can grow too, which can make getting them back to a healthy length a gradual process. Regular trims help keep them manageable.

So even though the clippers are getting a rest at Village Tailwaggers today, here’s your friendly reminder:

CHECK THOSE TOOTSIES! 🐾😂

A little nail maintenance can make a BIG difference in your pup’s comfort.

🐾 THURSDAY'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRET! 🐾

Ever wonder why your freshly bathed dog immediately runs outside and rolls in the grass?

Dogs experience the world through their noses, and some may roll around to pick up interesting smells or replace that freshly washed scent with something more familiar.

Apparently, smelling like a beautiful, clean dog just isn't for everyone! 😂

Nothing makes a groomer question their life choices quite like watching a freshly groomed dog find the ONE muddy spot in the entire yard.

Three hours of grooming...

Thirty seconds of freedom...

And we're right back to looking like a swamp creature! 🤦‍♀️

Tell me, what's the FIRST thing your dog does after getting a bath?
