Meet Paisley! 💦🐾

Paisley is a water-loving puppy who is happiest swimming, splashing, or getting her paws wet. A lake, creek, or kiddie pool? She’s all in.

She’s still learning about the world and has started potty training and crate training. Since she hasn’t had much public exposure yet, she may get excited and jumpy when meeting new people — but it’s only because she loves attention and wants to say hello to everyone.

Paisley loves other dogs, does well with cats, and adores children. Because she’s playful and full of puppy energy, she may accidentally knock over smaller kids during zoomies.

She would be a wonderful match for first-time dog owners or active adopters looking for a smart, lovable, adventure-ready sidekick.

Tail of the Day: Nikko 🐾

Meet Nikko, a joyful, loving pup with a huge heart and a whole-body wiggle to match.

Nikko is happiest when he is sharing life with his people, whether that means hiking a trail, going for a walk, splashing in the water, playing fetch, learning something new, or curling up on the couch for a movie night. He loves being part of the action, but he also knows how to settle in for some quiet relaxation after a busy day.

Nikko absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend to play with. He also loves children, though because he is still young and enthusiastic, he may accidentally knock over smaller kids when he gets excited. With cats, Nikko can play a little rough, so cat-savvy felines or careful introductions would be best.

This sweet boy is affectionate without being demanding, playful without being overwhelming, and adventurous without being reckless. He has a gentle, happy spirit and a way of making people smile wherever he goes.

TAIL OF THE DAY: Ripley 🖤

Some dogs wait a few weeks, maybe a couple months.

Ripley has been waiting since November of last year.

This sweet boy watches other dogs find their families while he patiently keeps being his happy, loving self. He loves cuddles, enjoys being close to his people, and has the kind of gentle personality that makes you wonder how he’s still available.

Ripley can be a little shy at first and appreciates people who give him time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. The best relationships are worth taking a little time to build, and Ripley is absolutely worth it.

This playful guy enjoys spending his days making dog friends, exploring outside, and soaking up all the fun life has to offer. He’s dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, and always excited for his next adventure.

Ripley is also food motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. He’s eager to learn and loves earning treats for a job well done.

At just 9 months old, he’s still young enough to grow with his forever family while already having many of the basics down, including crate and house training.

☀️ SUMMER ADOPTION SPECIAL: BENNY ☀️

Looking for a big dog with an even bigger heart? Meet Benny! ❤️

Benny is a 2½-year-old Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs about 75 pounds and is ready to find a family of his own. This handsome guy is house trained, crate trained, knows “sit” and “lay,” and has great manners around the house. He loves chew toys, bones, belly rubs, and spending time with his favorite people.

Benny does well with other dogs, loves kids, and even leaves cats alone.

Meeting new people can make Benny a little nervous at first, especially men, but he warms up quickly once he realizes he’s safe. Underneath that initial shyness is a sweet, affectionate boy who just wants to be someone’s best friend.

As part of our Summer Adoption Special, Benny’s adoption fee has been reduced to $350!

How is Ripley STILL waiting?! 😭

This goofy, lovable Pit Bull Terrier mix has been in rescue since November and he’s part of our Summer Adoption Special with a reduced adoption fee of $350.

Ripley is about 9 months old, around 47 pounds, and the total package. He’s house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, and loves spending time with his people. Whether he’s splashing in the water, playing outside, or showing off his silly side, Ripley knows how to make everyone smile.

He may be a little shy when meeting new people and sometimes barks when he’s feeling unsure, but once he realizes you’re a friend, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through.

This boy is so ready for a family of his own.

Penny Lane was our very first Tails on the Town adventure pup! 🐾

She spent the day enjoying a walk, relaxing in a volunteer’s home, meeting new people, exploring new surroundings, and chewing on a favorite toy. Safe to say she was a natural. 💕

Programs like Tails on the Town give our rescue dogs a chance to experience life outside of their foster homes while helping them build confidence and make new friends along the way.

Penny Lane loved her day out, but what she’d really love is a forever family of her own. Until then, she’s always happy to make new friends and head out on another adventure.
