As many know, I was diagnosed with Stage 3b, Triple Negative Breast Cancer last summer. We also moved into our house last spring. Both created a lot of stress on my animals. We also had a few animals with respiratory infections. Long story short, almost half of my animals passed away as they were babies and juveniles and not strong enough to get through those stressors. A few animals that I already knew needed extra care were rehomed.
I am now 8 months into remission and getting stronger each day. I have made the decision to continue working with reptiles and veterans. I am rebuilding my collection with new babies and species. I will be ready to continue education and animal "therapy" in 2026.
