Star Dog Training

Happy Friday! Adult blacklegged tick season is still going strong. As you enjoy the fall foliage and cooler weather, remember that ticks are still very active. Don’t forget to check yourself and your pets after spending time outdoors!

Please be sure to protect yourself and your dogs. Use a product that will repel and kill them if they do get on you. Honestly, they are SO bad right now, it’s damn near impossible to keep them off the dogs, even in my treated yard. Check your pets and yourself. I had one attached to me early this week. Be safe out there!!

🍂 Happy Friday! Your weekly tick report is here. 🕷️

The fall deer tick season has certainly started, and the adults are emerging while the nymphs are finally beginning to decrease. Lone star nymphs and Asian longhorned larvae are also high, so enjoy your outdoor fall activities, but don't forget to check for ticks!
