🚨🚨 The kitties need you!! 🚨🚨

These littles and nursing Mama's have depleted our canned food supply 😫😅

We just opened our last case of canned kitten food and we are about half way through our last case of canned adult food. Most of our kittens are transitioning from slurry and I know we don't normally take mom's with babies, but we currently have 3 😬 Each one is a special case that we were able to say yes to because of your support ❤️🙏 Plus we have all the tnr kitties to lure in with our good food! 😋

We have a new mama who decided to have her babies in the trap overnight at the clinic. The trapper was unable to care for mom and babies so Amber reached out and asked us to help! We have a mama & babies that were abandoned at a rental property. The landlord kept them safe in her outside catio but knew they needed more! She continued to care for them until we had space 🙏😻 Little Bailey is from this mom & babies. Our 3rd mom & babies came to us after a couple took the babies to the clinic wanting to have them euthanized and were needing help trapping the mom. Fearing for the safety of the babies due to the behavior of the couple we got them to surrender the babies and a few days later they took the mama in a trap to AlterClinic and Amber got them to surrender her to us too!! So we were able to reunite mom with her babies. She was taking excellent care of them when they were stolen from her and she continues to be the best mother, even though she herself is very young. She might need a friendly barn home when she's done raising her babies but I think she will come around. She's just very scared and I believe she is still traumatized from her babies being stolen 😭😭
We are looking for a few foster homes for 2 of the Mom's & their babies so if you want little ones without all the work this is perfect for you. Both Mom's allow you to handle their little nuggets. One mom is super friendly and the other just needs you to take it slow 🐌 she's never hissed, swatted, or tried to bite and I get very close to her. She is slowly getting better she just needs someone willing to do it at her pace. Message our page if you'd be interested in becoming a foster 🙏🐾😻

We can absolutely use anything that is currently on our wishlist however we are in an emergency status on canned kitten & canned adult food. If you're able to order us some off our wishlist that would be absolutely incredible 😻😻 The cats & kittens will be so excited to see the amazon boxes 📦 We appreciate everyone's support in helping community cats and street kittens in need. All these babies no matter how old they are get a second chance and a chance at a better life because of you! Because our village always comes through! ❤️🐾 Little Miss Bailey Update❤️🐾

Incase you missed our original post Bailey is a 6 week old little gal that suddenly wasn't able to walk and was holding her left front paw in the air. 😭😭

Today she went to see one of our amazing vets, Dr. Michelle at Nose to Tail Veterinary Clinic. Although Bailey did improve some daily between the initial incident and her appointment, it's so important to still be seen by the vet. Doc saw the video and then looking at her today and she was very pleased with the improvement she made. Thankfully doc said that their were no concerns of broken or dislocated bones so x-rays weren't needed and there was no fever or upper respiratory concerns. 🙏 Kittens are just little daredevils and a tad crazy so she most likely just landed wrong jumping down off their towers and shelves or playing too rough with her siblings 🤷‍♀️ Bailey is still limping a bit on that front leg and walking a little weird on both hind legs, but doc believes she will make a full recovery. 😻🐾 She was sent home with 3 doses of an anti-inflammatory just to give her a little boost if needed.

Bailey needs you!

Bailey came to use with her mom and siblings after she was left behind when someone moved out. 😡 The landlord contacted us and kept everyone safe until we had room. Everything was going great... appointments scheduled for spay & neuter... and then the frantic phone call from her Foster Mom Nikki came in. Bailey is unable to walk 😳😭. She is still eating, drinking, and using the litterbox with the assistance of her amazing foster mommy.
We scheduled Bailey to see Dr. Michelle at Nose to Tail Veterinary Clinic tomorrow afternoon and could really use your help with her bill.

💔😭Rest Easy Sweetheart🙏🐾

Yesterday our friends at Cat Mom Mafia LLC reached out to us about this older kitten from a colony they were working on. They were very concerned about Sweetheart because she was going down hill fast and since they don't normally deal with this type of thing they wanted our advice on the next steps. So I gathered all my emergency kitten supplies and headed to Canton. Sadly she tanked so fast that by the time I got there to check on her all I could do was cuddle her, give her some good pets, and tell her how sorry I was that she was born to suffer and die! 🥺💔😭 We wouldn't have made it to an emergency room. Sweetheart went from not showing any signs of illness to passing in my arms in less than 18 hrs! And most of those hrs were overnight hrs before anyone even knew she was so sick!
So yesterday afternoon I once again cried for a kitten I had just met! My chest got a little tighter and another piece of my heart broke 💔😢😫

Community cats didn't ask for the hard lives they live everyday outside. And Street Kittens definitely didn't ask to be born to suffer and die. Did you know that only 1 in 4 kittens lives to be 6 months old? Or that the majority of the 3 out of 4 that die truly suffer immeasurable pain sometimes for their entire short lives? How awful is that? 😔

We must work together to stop this madness! This crisis isn't going to end overnight. Honestly it's going to take many years of boots on the ground, multiple organizations working together, villages continuing to show up through donations, fostering, volunteering, liking, commenting, and sharing again and again and again! We must remember we are ALL on the same team!!! We might not always agree on everything, but I do know our entire village believes that the animals deserve better! ❤️🐾
