Day one, and this smart girl is already showing us what she's made of! 🐾

Meet Kona, who just started her 4-week basic private lesson program today! Like so many puppies, she's working through some classic puppy stuff — losing focus, and not always listening on the first ask (we've all been there, right?).

But after just one lesson, Kona is already showing how smart she really is — and mom and dad learned so much today too! That's the best part of private lessons: the whole family grows together, one lesson at a time. We can't wait to watch this girl shine over the next few weeks. 💛

We just love watching a dog put it all together in the real world — and Phoenix the Dalmatian did exactly that today! 🐾

Phoenix just crushed yet another private lesson in his 8-week program — that's 7 out of 8 done! He's gained off-leash skills, he holds his commands with so much confidence, and today he proved to be the very best shopping companion, happily settling while mom picked out some clothes for vacation.

This is what it's all about — a dog who can truly be part of your life, anywhere you go. We are so proud of you, Phoenix! 💛

Day 1 with Toby 🐾

This is Toby, a 5-month-old Labrador, on day one of his Board & Train — and we’re not starting with obedience.

We’re starting with play.

Before we ask a puppy to listen everywhere, we build the relationship that makes training possible. We learn what drives him, build his confidence, teach him that engaging with us is fun, and that bringing the toy back keeps the game going.

That engagement is the foundation for everything that comes next — recall, leash work, place, and reliable obedience out in the real world.

Wanna play? … All done.

Follow along for Toby’s journey.

We are already having the best time with this little guy — this is Toby, the sweetest 5-month-old lab who just started his 2-week board and train with Trainer Evan! 💛

Toby was just dropped off yesterday, and he's already diving right into the fun part: play! Around here, play isn't a break from training — it IS training. Through games like tug and fetch, Toby will build engagement, confidence, and a real bond with his handler, all while learning the rules that make play (and life!) so much more fun.

We can't wait to watch this happy boy grow over the next two weeks!

Want your puppy to learn through play too? We'd love to chat!

Fall field trips are one of our favorite parts of board and train — just look at Coco the lab soaking up the sunshine at the Promenade Shops! 🍂🎃

Coco is in our 10-day board and train with Trainer Missy, and she's been practicing her skills out in the real world — staying calm and focused with all the sights, sounds, and shoppers around her. Real-life practice is where training truly comes together, and she is doing beautifully!

We are so proud of you, Coco! 💛

You’ve seen him already, but we want to officially introduce you to a very special little guy who's staying with us right now — this is Devon, the sweet 5-month-old mixed breed puppy who is cruising through his 10-day board and train with Trainer Missy!

Devon is such a fun, happy puppy, but like a lot of puppies his age, impulse control is hard for him. He gets nippy when he's excited, he's not much of a listener yet, doesn't come when called, and if he grabs something he shouldn't have? He turns it into a game of keep-away!

We're helping him learn how to slow that busy puppy brain down, listen even when he's excited, and make better choices — all with clear, kind communication.

We can't wait to show you his progress!

Want help with your puppy's manners? We'd love to chat 💛

Bruno and Devon took their training on the road yesterday with a trip to the Promenade! 🐾 These two Board & Train boys got to work side by side, practicing good manners, focus, and obedience while surrounded by all the sights, sounds, people, and activity of the real world.

Because training at home is one thing—but being able to listen when the world gets interesting is where it really counts! 🙌 Real-world outings help dogs learn that the same rules apply no matter where they are or what distractions pop up. Bruno and Devon both crushed it and looked pretty handsome doing it, too. 😎

Khloe heads home tomorrow, and we are going to miss this little spitfire SO much! 🥹🐾

Over the last 10 days, she has worked incredibly hard. She’s learned to listen around distractions, keep herself composed when she sees other dogs and people, and understand that she doesn’t have to interact with everything she loves. For a girl who absolutely LOVES everyone and everything, learning that neutrality is okay has been such an important skill!

And don’t worry—we didn’t take away an ounce of that big Khloe personality. 😂 She’s still spunky, playful, silly, and always ready for a good time. We used that love of play throughout her training to show her that listening can be just as fun as running around and being her wild little self!

Tomorrow she gets to show Mom and Dad everything she’s learned, and while we’re so excited for her graduation, saying goodbye is definitely going to be bittersweet. ❤️

Ready to help your dog become a better listener without losing the personality you love? Give us a call!

⚽🐾 Soccer practice is better when your four-legged teammate can come too!

Imagine being able to bring your dog along to your kids’ practices without worrying about pulling, jumping, barking, or causing chaos on the sidelines. 🙌

Khloe joined us at soccer practice yesterday and absolutely crushed it! She practiced settling, listening, and being on her best behavior around all the excitement and distractions. Real-life situations like this are exactly why we train—so your dog can be included in more of the things your family loves to do. ❤️

Want a dog you can confidently bring along for the adventure? We can help!
