It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of retired Police K-9 Remi. He was the beloved Allentown Police K-9 partner of retired Officer Tal Cashatt.

Since 2015, we had the privilege of caring for Remi thought out his career and retirement. He looked forward to his visits at our hospital as much as we enjoyed seeing him. He would demand constant treats from Dr. Meyer, and we loved seeing what snazzy bowtie attire he'd be wearing that day. He always made us smile and holds a special place in our hearts. Remi, you will never be forgotten.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to retired Officer Tal Cashatt, his family, friends, Allentown Police Department, and everyone whose lives were touched by Remi. Rest easy, Remi. Thank you for your service.
